What is a 'responce'? A reply to an absolute PONCE?
Not necessarily waiting for £1.50 although that would be nice, at the moment £1 would be good.
I'm also not in a rush but it's the continued uncertainty that I feel is causing the drops in the SP
Haha, that's your Friday night name , I suppose it can also be weds
Bonkers , you can call me Sarah if it feels better :-))
A few months !?...so what ?.
Its not a speeding fine or parking on double yellows case..
Anyway, a few months could mean end of Jan !..
I guess you're holding out for £1.50+ , if that's the case , it wouldn't have been that with the court case ruling anyway..
I would imagine they have hired another secretary especially for answering emails ..
:-))
Not expecting a judgement on the court case for another few months !
That's not what we want to hear
Yep pretty much the same Sammy, would call you Steve but feels wrong
Yes Sammy they have replied to me a couple of tes quite promptly, I have posted the response
Basically the same Bonkers...
Dear Steve,
We are not expecting a judgement on the court case for a another few months, so highly unlikely it is related. We also have long Canadian holders on the register as well.
Given the significant short and after looking at their investment strategy, it is most likely they have invested in Cineworld’s convertible bond and have taken a short position as a hedge.
Kind regards

Bonkers , yes I got a reply to my 23rd nov email on the 24th nov.
Also I got a reply to yesterday's email today :-)
Sammy sent a email and got a responce i believe 24th November.
Well done Bonkers - although I doubt that we are the first to notice the unhappy conincidence.
BTW does anyone have the date of the last email reponse from Investor Relations handy?
IIRC they said "don't sweat it, it's just light touch dealing and Covid" but I think it may have been at the time of the first set of shorting by K2, which would suggest their brokers aren't much cop.
Bonkers. Good short email. To the point.
Thank you and well done.
What court case
when are we likely to hear the result of the court case?
Bravo - Bonkers, if nothing else it will be an amusing response for us and I suspect Cineworld….
Wellington - great shout, few days in a row now I think.
Great e mail there Bonkers,
lets hope no connection them having some leaked info against us on the case outcome & they are just having a stab at making some money being chancers, but their location does seem iffy.
We're surely on the winning side of the case Gotta be.
Loaded yes, but probably on a few lth's minds, so I for one would like to hear their response if they bother to reply.
Nice Bonkers, to the point. I'd be surprised if they reply in anything but the vaguest of fashion if at all. That's one loaded question.
I'm just curious to this now, I know IF a leak has happened the FCA will investigate against K2 but could a leak have any affect/repercussions/change on the court case itself?
Hello all I have sent the following email regarding k2 to investor relations, it was a rush job as busy at work , I'll let you know if they respond, as I said I'm confident no court leak has happened but I would be interested to know how cineworld feel about it. Of a few here have raised it then maybe they have, anyway the short email is as follows
Good afternoon sir/madam.
I regularly view and post on the cineworld lse bulletin board and was wondering if you could answer the following question regarding the recent short position k2 & associates investment management inc have recently took.
Cineworld are currently awaiting a desicion on the outcome of its court case with cineplex which like k2 are also based in Canada.
Are cineworld concerned that perhaps a court leak has happened which has led to k2 making this descion to short our stock?.
The location of both party's ( the court and k2) and the timing of taking out a short (at what hopes is the bottom of a huge dip) seems too much of a coincidence and a unusual time to consider borrowing lots of our shares.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts
Kind regards
