Investroid and Indepthwins are turning a few of the were long Cineworld followers
into their own [Mouth-Pieces] and [Cineworld Turncoat DIE HARD Disciples].
We need to let THEM know that we will NOT tolerate their back to front posts of doom &
gloom 'FACTUAL' nonsense. Long Live the BoD Cineworld and everyone that is long on Cines.

Guitarman, you sitting out for a certain price? Or an improvement in circumstances?
Obviously take over news would leave you behind, but positive covid numbers would see us gradually rise.
Is there a low that you would consider rebuying at?
@guitarman
Takeover is the worst case scenario
I want to see Cineworld back to full strength early 2021 .... back to £1.50 +
If that doesnt happen then takeover is poss8ble
It's amazing when someone sells out then posts little digs here and there ...
An agreed takeover is the most likely scenario in case of covid restrictions continuing late into 2021
Enough liquidity till September 2021 !!
Was pondering about joining the Evil Dark Investor Loid and joining the shorters. Due to the information the long term holders have furnished today I am 100% that this share will succeed. Hopefully a quick win but realistically it will take a little longer to deliver. Good luck all enjoy your weekend.
@RS2002
Agreed any offer now would be low ball
Mooky's family fortune is tied up in Cineworld
He will want to see sp reciver to at least £2 before he entertains any bid offer
I don't think Disney would make a hostile offer given they already have a business relationship with Cineworld
But if Covid is still around in January 2021, and if Mooky might be agreeable to a deal
I think cinema will most likely recover very strongly in December, so Mooky may get his £2+ shate price in 2021 and not have to sell the family business
We could always get a hostile bid from Netflix or Jangho though
The synergy is nothing new, remember.
"As part of the partnership, Disney has become the first brand to take over Cineworld’s in-foyer rotundas, a space previously only reserved for studios and in-house messaging."
I can already envisage the concessions after the latest MCU outing.
"Dad, can I have a Captain America action figure, too?"

My personal preference/ideal situation would be for Cineworld to recover ground into Q1 2021 and for a takeover/further synergy with Disney to take place, there after. If it took plaec now, my fear would be a lowball offer.
No chance. Unless they made a deal for mooky to keep power and voting rights, which they wouldn't do.
£3 at least.
Add to that
HSBC shares cost more
Mooky and co bought shares around £2.
Would they take 1 pound ish a share probably not.
Surely the ideal time for a studio or who ever to buy cine would be march 2021 as highest price over 12month period would be roughly £1.
Unless it goes over the pound area by then but can we that ?
Free advertising of their theme parks and future movies before every film shown. Rise the prices of their meal deals even more, just because a picture of a mouse is on it. Its crazy good business sense. I know it probably won't happen, but if c19 wasn't here, I think it would be odds on to happen.
Very fun to talk about though.
@Investorbolox - I don't really see your point about a takeover is like winning the Euro millions (btw it's currently 115 million jackpot so get your tickets in).
Disney can sell merchandise and the Cinema is the perfect spot to flog their premium priced stuff... which parent is going to say know to their kid when they walk straight into an in-house Disney shop after watching the kids favorite movie, it all goes hand in hand and perfect business sense.
You'd be very surprised at what kind of revenues the merchandise alone can bring to the table with effortless promotion.
Any counter case on my point Investor Bolox?
Well, they wanted to test PVOD first, we will find out if that was as big of a failure as we hope in October
If PVOD is a failure, then the next stage would be to let cineworld or AMC weaken some more before approaching, they know a vaccine isn't likely for at least another 4-6 months, which is a very long time for cinemas to struggle through, without new movies to show.
Once they are at their weakest, make an approach.
Thats what I'd do anyway lol.
Why would the studios wait for the delivery of a vaccine before they pounce. For sure they’ll have to pay significantly more then. Personally i’d rather wait but beggars can’t be choosers.
I think you should all be working as Disney advisers, LOL :) BTW, don't take the job until I have bought back in.
@prayfor
Yeah i gave a little extra time for covid to whittle away.. :)
And i think they would keep MOoky Mouse in charge of DisCineworld until his retirement
Also, if Disney took over cine, it would make the money back much sooner than 3 years (if covid disapeared). They make over 1bl on their remakes and the more popular marvel films. They would receive 100% of that total.
They could release 8 blockbusters and boom, its paid for. Let alone the extra income from showing competitors movies too. And food sales. And extra merchandise sales.
@LTHcine
I just dream more then about that euromillions win.
Hope you're right bud. Just a shame they can't do it sooner rather than later. I have things I wanna buy haha.
Mooky Mouse, nice ring to it.
The more we dream about it the more chance of it becoming reality
@Pray
They could be speaking about a deal as I write...these are very complicated transactions ... Moooky will be holding out for as long as he can
If there is better news on covid and US reopening, then Mooky can bide his time and wait for a big recovery in 2021
If the recovery is further delayed, or another lockdown (remote) or films further delayed, then Mooky's hand may be forced and he may then do a deal with one of the many suitors for Cineworld
Either way a win-win for us long term holders

Not for Disney! CINE’s price tag is a snippet in comparison to what Disney could achieve from owning their own Cinema’s... definitely a good shout and not to be shrugged off lightly! The law to stop studios owning cinemas (that was removed a few months ago) was there for a good reason presumably... so why remove this law and why now?? So to give studio’s the right to buy cinemas if they wish.. THINK ABOUT IT!!! IMO
