No I will keep investing thanks.
And you can’t take action against the new company, only the old.
The old company has no assets therefore any action is in my opinion pointless, nothing will come of it.
Not the first time it’s happened, Mccolls being a recent example.
Is it fair - NO, is it legal - YES (not that I think it should be though)
It’s a new company, a private one at that. Owned by the lenders. If they do float then those shares will be in the new company and they will be legal.
I don’t understand your comment about them not being so.
Can you explain the logic behind this please.
“those new shares will never be legal until they buy the 1.3b original holding we got.. “
Turn it in Sprint it was just a useful link to some huge CO that shareholder bought successful action and got a result, so don't be so dismissive, we know our share is useless ATM with what has taken place recently, but that does not mean it's gone forever as there is still record of that holdings in the cloud, and on record that it's fully paid, for when it's needed in the future, as proof, if the Shareholder group get lucky,
no one here is expecting anything ATM, but to do nothing and get robbed is not an option for shareholders everywhere
we just want NEW CO CINEWORLD TO KNOW THAT what ever share they issue and whatever stock market they end up trading on, those new shares will never be legal until they buy the 1.3b original holding we got..
it will take as long as it takes
ATB
Maidit 308 , thanks will do 👍
Just to flag that the shareholder group e-mail address is info@cineworld-shareholders.com
Not cineworld's'
Thanks
Perhaps they could move the shares into your name and close your account? Haven’t got a clue how this works in practise as have always used mainstream broker and held nominee shares.
You're living in cloud cuckoo land...there's no impropriety here outside of incompetence of the BOD in borrowing too much..the shares we held no longer have voting rights are totally worthless and you can't bring a court case against someone or a group because you think they're thick.

Hi Forest, it is better to support the Cineworld shareholders group with whatever holding you got, so we all speak with 1 voice, at this stage IMO, as you will still have proof of your holdings with your broker in whatever form, but to be safe after you sign up with Email: info@cineworlds-shareholders.com it's better to ask them, if crest certificate is the way forward
regards
If you hold no other shares, I’d contact ii. I’d be surprised if they charge you £9.99 per month for a portfolio worth nothing. If they say they won’t charge you, obviously get confirmation in writing.
I have / had 44k shares at an average of 54p so unfortunately got burned like so many people on here. Currently i hold my shares with ii who charge £9.99 month. Could anyone advise on what to do next ? hold these worthless shares within ii in the smallest of chances something ever happens or just close my account and save the £9.99 up to reduce the loss of £23k that has been stolen :-(
For some of you e.g. dean, investing just aint for you
People still trying to ramp? LOL
Has anyone got access to a Bloomberg terminal? The IIs all bailed on the C11 rumour.
Go into your Local Cineworld With Your Share Certificate and Sing 🎤 Ronan Keating.
You say it best when you say nothing at all lol :).
Oh yea I obsessed with fat lady lol :).
Juno casper & maidit308 would you say it's better or not to have a crest certificate , going forward with the Cineworld shareholders claims group , ref your conversations ?
Thanks for that JC It's better to have hope than no hope, i suppose, and i think those left behind and still have a holding knew the risk, but also know it was a blatant day light robbery how our stock was given away for $4.5b so longs as we get nothing..and management get sorted out, and is still prepared to take a stand against these kind of industrial fraud no matter how long it takes..
Thanks for your feedback ,smart investor your a classic
You won’t mate it’s a private company owned by the lenders.
