David Traynor, Executive Chairman of Byotrol commented:
"Byotrol is well positioned to grow in post-pandemic antimicrobial markets, as we continue to focus on regulatory-approved, high performance biocide technologies.
We are now increasing market share from product sales in animal and human health as competitors withdraw for regulatory reasons, and within those markets we are increasing margins through sharper focus of resources, greater simplification of operations and enhanced economies of scale. These returns are set to grow further, boosted by ongoing high margin licensing agreements and alliances.
We look forward to supporting Vivan Pinto in his new position of Byotrol CEO, and we sincerely thank John Langlands for his excellent contribution to our Company."
GL all....sounds like a good investment here
The last 3 are mine!
Any chance you could do your job and actually get some PR out, rather than just posting the results every 6 months?
As you can see there is plenty to say, just a pity DT can't be bothered to keep his promise from the IM presentation.
PS. I've signed up to the newsletter on the byotrol website about 10 times over the last year and never received anything.
Does it actually exist?
Another thing to add to 1gw excellent posts.
Solvay is a 10 Billion Euro company. (£9 Billion)
It only highlighted 5/6 product ventures in that call, and one of those is our Actizone.
Pretty much points the way to it being an important revenue earner going forward?
For the old guard, Finncap always talked about a clear £5M revenue stream, year in , year out, going forward.
If the BOD were happy to buy at 3.3p then I think they know this.
Quite a few of my small caps are showing signs of life so at 2p and a market cap of £8M with no debt, things could get interesting quite quickly.
Fantastic work 1gw. Thank you.
However, it is a shame that it's down to shareholders to join the dots because the company PR is a shambles and can't do it's job.
It's fine for DT to reply, (strange he doesn't need a solvay sign off for that one!)
'Congratulations Oliver. Best in class product now available globally. Really good news.'
more than a week ago but no interest in updating shareholders as promised in the IM.
I wonder if the £5M a year still stands?
The last 5 posts are courtesy of 1gw on advfn.
Good representation of byotrol in the comments and likes on Oliver Hufer's linkedin post on Actizone registration completion. Oliver is EVP & GM, Novecare Actizone.

Ian Brown has just joined as Supply Chain Director.
Coincidentally, he spent a good chunk of time at Univar Solutions, Solvay's US Actizone distributor.
hTtps://www.linkedin.com/in/ianbrownsupplychaindirectoremea/
So in the public domain, it seems to me for Solvay Actizone in the US we have:
o Registration completed - EPA and all 50 states
hTtps://www.solvay.com/en/press-release/solvay-completes-us-registration-process-actizone-f5
o Reckitt intention to launch Lysol product in US in 2023 (as I read the Solvay earnings transcript below)
"I also wish to highlight our recent innovation called Actizone, I'm really proud of as it actually started last year. We created a unique and long lasting disinfection technology and it's now commercialized by Reckit,t a global market leader in their iconic brand, Lizol. The technology was just launched in France this month and it will launch in Germany in the coming weeks, followed by other European countries in 2022 and in the United States of America in 2023."
hTtps://www.solvay.com/sites/g/files/srpend221/files/2021-10/2021Q3-transcript%20call.pdf
o Distributed in bulk chemical form via [correction] Univar Solutions
hTtps://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6993967855725674496/
o Distributed in branded (Solvay) ready-to-use form via Nissco
hTtps://www.nissco.com/news-detail/new-supplier-announcement-solvay-1
Surely that's enough for an RNS, with Solvay's consent.
Looks like [correction] Univar Solutions is distributing Solvay Actizone F5 by the drum-load in the US:
"We are happy to represent Solvay on Actizone F5. Please reach out to your local homecare and industrial cleaning account manager to learn more about Actizone F5 or any other Solvay ingredients."
hTtps://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6993967855725674496/
hTtps://www.univarsolutions.com/actizone-f5-16192280?v=16192280
I can certainly imagine a scenario in which a succession of positive releases builds a bit of momentum:
1. RNS on Solvay Actizone, reiterating the significance of US full registration and perhaps disclosing something on 1H Actizone commission due to byotrol, at least qualitatively relative to FY22;
2. RNS confirming Ecolab as the "significant US distribution company" in the 3-way deal with IRI and byotrol, confirming the label and the status of the state registration process and/or anticipated launch date;
3. RNS announcing the formal Cruise platform product launch, byotrol's "biggest ever" of the "next generation surface sanitiser, approved for EU and UK animal health markets";
4. RNS announcing interim results together with guidance (at least for product sales) for FY23 and "also beyond", "hopefully as a valuation event which people will like".
Maybe that's an overactive imagination, given the history, but the company has said it is targeting monthly newsflow following the September investor relaunch. 1 and 2 will each need signoff by the counterparties, and I am hoping that explains the delay. And who knows, in a real bullish scenario maybe we could even get an announcement before too long of a commercial development agreement (gate payments and potential royalties) on seaweed.
[No advice intended, for the avoidance of doubt]
Actizone got a mention at the end of the discussion around slide 5 on "Investments and innovation support our growth and sustainability commitments". As I heard the (Solvay) CEO:
"Finally, I am so pleased to share that our Actizone F5, you may remember we launched it during Covid 19, Solvay's innovative 24 hour anti-microbial sanitising technology that we launched back in September 2020 in Europe, is now fully approved by the EPA in the United States of America."
No numbers and no discussion on the next steps, at least so far in the presentation.
What are the catalysts for this stock?
MrLofer,
" I am an investor and see great value imo in byotrol. "
If you see great value, why no comment on the fy results from you or the 4 who voted you up?
It's been several weeks since they were published.
The newsflow here is as I was expecting.
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/BYOT/final-results/15604156
Commenting on the results, John Langlands, Chairman of Byotrol plc, said:
"Our confidence in Byotrol's strategy remains undiminished and as expected we are seeing many examples of competitors withdrawing from some of our markets as biocide regulations bite in the UK and EU. Additionally stability is starting to return to the marketplace with ordering patterns returning to more regular levels which we expect to settle further in the second half of this new financial year.
We now need to focus on the markets and technologies that offer the greatest, sustainable long-term returns and then invest carefully to maximise profits for the lowest risk profile. Our markets do continue to offer significant opportunities and we remain highly confident that we are on the right path to taking advantage of them. We remain optimistic about future growth and profitability. "
You clearly have an agenda and something against this company. I am an investor and see great value imo in byotrol. Over and out
MrLofer,
"This is now a balanced business with multiple revenue streams and not a pure manufacturing ( low margin) business. "
Are they? Where are the results then?
They should have published the results before embarking on a fundraising.
"The only people who made loads of money to quote you were the crooks who were selling alcohol based sanitisers with no medical accreditation. If you have sensitive skin or excema this is the only product and they were capacity constrained."
That's pure rubbish.
Where there's a demand other companies adapt and enter the market. This is exactly what happened.
Evidence:
P&G were 1 of the 1st to enter the market. The article below from March 2020.
Are you seriously suggesting P&G are 'crooks'? Seriously???
"Since January, we’ve mobilised teams to provide the capability to manufacture and distribute hand sanitiser in five plants around the globe. Perfumers in Europe used their chemical management expertise to develop and create their own Surface Sanitiser. Within three days, a multi-functional team assembled to develop, test and produce hand sanitiser with great agility. These experts shared their learnings with manufacturing facilities leaders to scale our production capabilities.
After obtaining an approved World Health Organisation (WHO) formula and recommendation for production, the team in Europe jumped into action to identify and obtain the raw materials they needed – the majority of which were already available on site. Within 24 hours, the first bottle of WHO Hand Sanitiser was produced in Gross Gerau. — Onofrio Caradonna, Europe Plant Shared Services Leader"
https://www.pg.co.uk/blogs/hand-sanitiser/
"If you have sensitive skin or excema this is the only product and they were capacity constrained. "
That's rubbish. They should have had a placing, appointed the supply chain manager and increased capacity when it was obvious there was a pandemic. P&G started in Jan 2020, where were Byot? They appointed the supply chain manager during the summer 2020, way too late.
As to Byot being the only product.
Again that's rubbish.
Evidence:
Alcohol-free sanitisers are widely available.
Just 1 shop, Superdrug (I assume you heard of them).
50p for 50ml bottle.
https://www.superdrug.com/skin/hand-care/hand-sanitizer-gels/rosdon-group-uk-ltd-alcohol-free-hand-sanitiser-gel-50ml/p/797188
or from Boots for kids and people with sensitive skin:
249p for 50ml
https://www.boots.com/nilaqua-little-hands-sanitiser-55ml-10232110
whereas Byot's is 320p for 50ml
https://www.boots.com/boots-anti-viral-hand-foam-50ml-10278907
So you're talking rubbish.
Mrlofer
Q. Were the now Loan Note Holders insiders ? A. Yes
Q What was their motivation to provide BYOT with additional funds? A. A 9% coupon and a basement strike price.
It is a shame that we "clowns" could not obtain an invite to onboard this particular gravy train.
How big could this be?
The group also reported December last year it is nearing completion of the academic programme into the mode of action behind brown seaweed’s potency as an antiviral technology. The potential for this technology continues to be exciting for the group, it said.
The only people who made loads of money to quote you were the crooks who were selling alcohol based sanitisers with no medical accreditation. If you have sensitive skin or excema this is the only product and they were capacity constrained. This is now a balanced business with multiple revenue streams and not a pure manufacturing ( low margin) business. You clearly have an agenda, in my mind any bod putting £0.5m into a small cap company is to be respected. IMO this is a very cheap company on a sum of the parts basis as the annuity type revenues are pure profit. If you researched the industry and also the share register you would see some very savvy investors are in this
Mrlofer,
"On balance this was good news "
Why is it good news?
We had the biggest pandemic to hit the world in over 100yrs and it's still ongoing. The company should have made huge amounts of cash.
Yet the company needs funding so soon? That's very questionable as to why they didn't.
Why haven't they posted the results before issuing the loan notes?
Again, very questionable why they haven't published the results before any funding requirement.
On balance this was good news and reflected in a sharp rally! I see some clown on ADVFn is accusing the board of insider dealing, pretty strong accusation and one which I suspect the board will need to refute via legal action. You need to be careful what you say even on bb.
All imo dyor
