Cheers guys, hopefully some of the aviva board guys bought in. Four good tips given now Talktalk, sclp, britvic and halfords. Thanks to leekhan I'm investing a small amount 2 x 1% in BOR and SOU. Both bottomed out but great for long term.Check out 5 year graphs and you will hopefully agree. Still holding halfords great div still 10% after todays price jump.
Yep I made about 9.5% after fees not bad for a weeks work :) Still a good hold long term

Cheers farmer for that... I think it will rise before end of august when the darwin news is due.... And Goldenshares im holding on it was worth a punt anyay as its at a 5 year low surely will rise one day :) (Hopefully)!!! And Im in sou just holding on jatayu news is due anytime if its good then happy days if not i can just sit and hold... Watch the rns out today on this... Could drop a bit mate
Had a look at bor and think I'll chuck 1% into it as well. Prepared to hold long term.
SOU makes interesting reading,if you look at the 5 year price chart I reckon it will hit 3p within 2 years just on the pattern alone. Going to take a 1% portfolio punt with a 2 year view.
Bor - 16. Rio will hold
Thanks for that golden i got my money tied up in a few for now., Got a arge holding in sou waiting on news this week or next... Could be big news on jatayu and farmer... Dont sell at a loss in there it will definately bounce soon mate thats why i havent got out
What did you get in if you dont mind me asking buy in price??? I wouldnt worry about it too much as it will rise soon enough with news due soon mate... its definately worth the punt its a 5 year all time low
Still lumbered with rio @ £3640 sadly
Rio look good value sub 2900
Had a punt as well, looks like plenty got burnt, sadly. GL
I wasnt telling him to get in i was just asking opinion... i got a few just on a gamble... With it dropping so much, but like i say only a punt. Should of just stayed in here instead of selling! as i new these were a bargain at 259. Ohhh well nevermind we all make mistakes ey!!!
Have no intention of going into bor
Steady with BOR, possible uplift but depends, as always, with news. You know the rules DYOR
Never looked into bor, have some fogl.
Price drop caused by increased debt levels, still less than 2010 and under control. Fears of sales drop due to wet summer would be another factor. Dividend well covered by earnings , results out Thursday someone said. Share price up 10p since last Thursday so I'm hoping for positive news. Shares went ex beginning July and just before Christmas last year.
now mate when do you have to be in halfords by to get the div??? Might jump in there, what caused the sudden drop? im looking at it now will have a decent look later seems a good one mate :) what u tihnk about bor?? Big drop due a little rise (i think) ha
Bought into halfords yesterday, div yield 11% well covered by earnings,
Still on a full holding, fingers crossed this share doesn't lose it's fizz on Thursday!
