Welcome tomato, I referenced you as MD in early discussions, you ain't but in the current situation who wouldn't want to be an MD in a company that's boiling under the spotlight.
Grab a patch around the camp fire, warm your bones, a decade of darkness surely took it's toll
Why not Rabbit you seem to have much more than Sainsbury’s
MD
I've spotted a stranded goat on the ridge above... Lamb kebabs are on the menu, I just need a tomato

Located 150 kilometers south-east of Timor-Leste and 450 kilometers north-west of Darwin, Australia, the gas-rich Greater Sunrise field area offshore fields have been sitting undeveloped for years in part due to maritime border issues between Australia and Timor Leste, and in part due to differences in opinion on how to develop the assets, either via an onshore plant in Timor-Leste, or via an FLNG offshore facility. The project is operated by Australia’s Woodside.
The area contains the Sunrise and Troubadour gas and condensate fields, collectively known as the Greater Sunrise fields. The fields were discovered in 1974 and hold around 5.13 Tcf of gas and 225.9 million barrels of condensate. Shell didn't slam the door shut...
Shell’s attitude throughout the negotiations shows that it is ready to consider not only its commercial interests but also the interests of small nations. Every nation is growing, demand is also increasing, and that's why we have a recipe for success
Ok thanks.

Hmmm, about the same time the maritime was settled
What's next...
There don't seem to be any interviews with the current CEO anywhere? like on proactive or any of those platforms? Have been searching for any interviews like that but can only find ones that are 3 years or older?
Cuddled up in the tent ready to close my lids for a good night's sleep when murmurs kept me awake... Charlie Brown reckons America will beat Australia in test cricket and take ownership of the Darwin pipeline, some funny things are happening... night night
JR, imho the authority was granted in late 2020 elections.
Just 1m people. $16b wealth fund based in NY.
Country burn rate, means they have just 10yrs budget..
Old gas fields are just that.
New younger coalition leaders are taking this forward.
Apparently the young know better.
We are on journey with many obstacles ahead, the landscape before us will dramatically change, however the stepping stones have already been set. SLEEP on one word of my advice... smarties, blue one's of course!
Thanks HFB...
Soon as the green light flashes then it’s on!! Good times coming in the next 6-18 months. Can’t wait!
Think Benny and Confucius would have a deep and meaningful chat
Haha... I was kidding. You’re like twins
I do not think so but I am more forgetful these days
That's pretty much it Wronin
Well if you where screaming we need revenues , we will be skint soon and you are trying
to attract higher level (as posted by Shuston recently license round details) International
companies, you would think they would be doing it PDQ
Many of the worlds leading companies left due to the governments intransigence, so why would
they return unless they get assured , like shell 2 huge finds and licenses and not allowed to go
into production as all now inside the Timor Leste Maritime Boundary to be process on an Island
with no facilities and no funds to build it (would take the entire wealth fund to fund)
License round in progress, would you commit to a license offshore , each drill tens of millions
if you had clarity on production and processing, that has been the impasse for 20 years
The general consensus seems to be that the green light will be given and the company are more than likely already in discussions with the bigger players for when both parties are ready to strike a deal, the bigger players like SHELL are big for a reason, they don't let the competition come in before them when the political landscape changes which it now has, wouldn't complain at a bidding war though, that would add a good few pence to any deal! looking more and more like this year is going to be massive for BOIL! hoping for the MCAP to surpass 1BILL but will be happy with 500 mill for starters.
Benny / HFB... are you actually the same person lol
That is so true Benny
Busymom you have a keen eye
But remember...
She sells seashells by the seashore,
The shells she sells are seashells, I’m sure.
So if she sells seashells on the seashore,
Then I’m sure she sells seashore shells.
Unknown to her, the ground beneath her feet has already been mapped by SHELL
So it’s down to the East Timor government to give the green light? Are there any discussions of when or if decisions may be made or timescales... don’t get me wrong I’m holding long term but you’d think current climate it would be all systems go...
