Hi alpha
Worth having a look at a presentation done recently, looks like they intend as you say to fully intregtrage however the mine isn’t yet active. Being an open pit maybe that could be done fairly quickly, doubtful within timescale to forefill the large order mentioned.

Interesting that they intend listing in either US or Europe, assume that’s a London listing, one to keep tabs on.
If you have any info on V23 Corp you’d like to share I’d be interested, thanks.
Bolgas - the key word is 'intends' - the important fact is that they are not currently a miner of Vanadium and are years away from becoming a miner of Vanadium and so what are they going to do when they need 1000 Tonnes of the stuff ?
BE doesn't "have" a battery of their own. They will simply assemble the batteries. The patents will belong to other companies. I couldn't help you in regards to the specifics of CellCube's VRFB and how they may differ from UET's or others.
Hi Alpha
Not read much about them for a little while, I know they intended to be a fully integrated flow battery supplier, are you saying that is no longer the case?
“CellCube intends to be a fully integrated producer of vanadium, vanadium electrolytes and vanadium redox flow batteries for energy-centric markets.”
As for the share price being muted that was after the flow batteeyndeal, which is surprising but then isn’t it just a confirmation of intention rather then a completed deal, much like redT have been suggesting but never actually deliver.
Cheers.
I know I keep harping superlatives but you have to wonder... where else can you find such indepth analysis?? It's incredible to think that we have access to all this information for nothing more than an open mind! Once again I find myself extended my gratitude for the efforts of gathering data and rationalising information pertinent to the BMN story.
Thanks Alpha.
So does anybody (probably Alpha) know whether this gives cellcubes battery an advantage over BE’s battery or is their pressure valve system just their way of doing something that can be done a number of ways
https://patents.justia.com/assignee/gildemeister-energy-storage-gmbh
It says cellcubes vrfb is patented ?
You are very much out of date mate
The article that you have posted is over a year old Bolgas....hence no reaction in SP. Lol.
It’s fairly public knowledge about where they plan on getting the Vanadium....

What’s more interesting is the share price response to that ground breaking deal, muted.
alfa,
I really do need to thank you again for your reply which was very helpful.

I did meet with Cellcube and as I explained it is not possible for me to ask commercially sensitive questions like 'what are the cost of your products, you know the ones that you explicitly don't advertise ?', 'where do you buy your Vanadium ?' Or more precisely it is possible to ask the questions just that it makes it more likely for them to turn around and tell me to stiff off. I will pass on what I can when I can.
There is no way that a similar battery storage electrolyte can be made from niobium, or any other element for that matter. The clever thing about a vanadium flow battery is that it is THE SAME ELECTROLYTE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BATTERY.
Thus it doesn't matter if you have any diffusion of electrolyte from one side of the battery to the other because its the same stuff on both sides. If that were to happen in any other type of flow battery you would likely get irreversible degradation of battery energy storage capacity.
Vanadium is the only element that exists in aqueous solution in 4 different oxidation states - thus on one side of the battery you can have oxidation state 2+ going to oxidation state 3+ whilst on the other side of the battery you have oxidation state 5+ going to oxidation state 4+ but it is the exact same liquid on both sides - it's just that the liquid can be essentially in any one of 4 different states.
alfa,
Did you have a chance to meet with Cellcube yesterday?
Also, the following is probably a question that has been asked before but here goes.
I read the recent pdub Terry Perles transcript in which Terry did a great job (as usual) on the subject of vanadium vs niobium. My question is whether electrolyte can be made from niobium and if so could it be used in storage batteries...........I hope not.
I thank you in advance if you reply.
Apologies: correction:
Alphacomp...Cellcubes SP chart mirrors that of BNM over the last 12 months...since 5 May 2018 their SP has gone from about 0.71 down to today at 0.12.
Considering the great advances they've made in their marketplace - has their SP decline affected their short to long term growth projections in any way...and why such a decline?
I'm sure you can find a way Alphacomp of working the above into your conversations/questioning....their SP decline started in May 2018 and seems to have been despite the V price rises/falls and Cellcubes own marketplace achievements...did they become a target of shorters too???....thanks in advance...

Could they make our day go BLUE??!!

Sorry couldn't resist, at school we had David Bellamy visit ( before he fell foul of mainstreem media) and we were all daring each other to ask this in the questions and answer section after his talk... no one did...
Squirtys questions are good Alfa.
How are babies made? :)
Alpha, a few questions:
1) What is their view of the supply-deficit for vanadium, vanadium pricing over the next 5 years and its impact on the growth of the VRFB market?
2) What do they see as the biggest risks in growth of the VRFB market e.g. vanadium supply/pricing, regulatory, insufficient levels of market awareness/media coverage/key influencers, etc? This might give more direction to Vanitec to help in reducing the market adoption roadblocks.
3) What/where does Cellcube see its primary markets? Geographically and key industries.
Guys - you will appreciate that some of these questions are too commercially sensitive to ask.
I remember once being in a business meeting in Japan - the only westerner in a very large conference room of company men and I made the mistake of asking them who made their superconducting magnets.
Silence
After about 20 seconds my Japanese distributor turned to me and said 'you cannot ask that' - ahhh, welcome to Japan !
@Alpha, where are they getting their electrolyte from and how much do they pay? We probably won’t get an answer but it would be interesting to know how much the stuff is being sold for and in what quantities. Thank you.
Alpha, will they be leasing or buying their electrolyte? Have they considered Bushvelds offerings ? What influenced their decision either way.? Thanks . D
What does a system install cost per unit of power?
Alfa, do they have concerns about electrolyte availability?
