I'd be very surprised if she doesn't occasionally check out this board.
Or she monitors this board......
I think her Inbox has lit up !!! She is in panic mode!!
I today have received an email replying to one I sent on the 17tg September ....I had forgotten that I sent it, odd that these replies seem to be occurring en masse today
I sent an email to her last night regarding consideration for change of name to incorporate Energy into the wording on similar lines to that mentioned by Libero.
I will update if any response
Don't forget CAPA
I just had a reply from Chika from an email sent beginning of September concerning Duferco CLN - The query was answered via the recent RNS !! Anyone else had a response? Something has triggered her response!!
Thanks guys
I'm fine with the idea of us all being co-signatories to the same email but the reason I leaned away from this idea is because I can't say that the email is signed by "bassguy, SMISHMAN, Dav3J, etc" because none of those are actual names, are they? Hahaa
Libero
You can tell FM your email has the support of a long-term holder whose entire SIPP is in BMN.
SMISHMAN
Fully onboard with this email and the sentiment behind it. Just frustrating that it's taken a whole 2 years of BoD intransigence to get to the stage where PIs are forced into such action.
Good luck Libero, although it assumes they want to improve communications. I have my doubts
Fara - I agree with your synopsis , I too don’t see a JSE listing as having any real impact. Would also add that a major uplift in V price will have a big impact on SP, although obviously outside of BMN control.
Ok I've sent the email with basically your content with a few small changes. better than nothing i guess!
Thanks again Lib
Libero, just an idea but what about posting a query on whether any other investors wish to counter sign your mail, by way of support. Ie like this or post your support and I will add your name to the mail, thus showing a snippet of shareholder agreement with your cause?
just as thought, you can add me for a start
Well copy & paste it into an email you lot.
If you're not willing to spend 2-3 mins to do that, then why are you here? (May sound harsh but I wouldn't understand why people wouldn't send it if they agree, but spend longer writing comments on here)
Really well put Libero, I think you have summarised many points very clearly there, well done.
bg
Good man Libero, massive respect. Ill confirm when ive sent it
Libero -
Your email has my full support.
Nice work.
SMISH
Libero, Good email and thanks for taking the time.
I think signing off with a few kisses it being a bit forward though you sly old fox :-)
Feel free to add / delete / amend things as you see fit.
But, as mentioned over the weekend, I believe if enough of us send this email, it cannot be ignored, and will get the BoD considering our friendly advice.
Let us know if you send an email

In addition to the above, I have the following suggestions:
1) Update the website. It's ridiculous how there is no mention of Bushveld's stakes in Invinity or Enerox. Potential new investors should be able to find mention of this easily; and it’s bizarre potential new investors that are looking for a quick summary of the company cannot do so from the company's own website. The website should also include a company organisational chart to link everything all together.
2) Combine the Bushveld Minerals and Bushveld Energy websites together. I do not see the logic to having 2 different sites. Especially when the Bushveld Energy one looks rather amateur, without any email address for those looking to contact Mikhail and the team directly, no mention of Invinity or Enerox, etc.
3) If Bushveld Energy is to continue having its own distinct website, it should have a full-blown social media presence across Twitter, LinkedIn, etc; and Mikhail should be doing more interviews to get the message out.
4) Increase the presence of Bushveld Energy because this is what will get investors particularly excited in my opinion. Also it makes sense to do this when I cannot envisage much of Bushveld’s vanadium will be used in steel going forward.
5) Consider a re-brand. The problem with the name “Bushveld Minerals” (which is what 99% of people hear of only, and that’s as far as they get), is that it sound just like yet another mining company on AIM. Instead I believe the name should mention Vanadium and/or Green Energy Solutions to increase the level of interest in the company from investors around the world. Would not something along the lines of “Bushveld Vanadium Energy Solutions” (BVES) not work better?
6) Reuters etc have mistakenly classified BMN as a uranium company which will mean some investors, funds, and trusts will disregard the idea of investing or even researching BMN on ethical grounds alone. Please may this urgently be fixed?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the above.
Many thanks,
XXX
For those who want to join me ... (Part 1 of 2)
"Hi Chika,
Hope you’re well.
I have been a Bushveld investor for XX months/years and I am writing because, whilst I’m a big fan of everything the company is doing, I am keen to suggest ways to improve upon the communication and RNS communication strategy in order to close the gap between the company’s inherent value and its stock market valuation.
The main reason for the extent of this gap between the inherent and stock market valuations is due to the fact that the RNSs are (1) typically written in such a way that is hard for prospective new investors to easily understand; (2) they often include too much information per RNS; and (3) they are too irregular [and can be poorly timed].
Re point (1): I believe the reason why the RNSs sometimes only make sense to those who are already invested and also very familiar with the company is because they are viewed in a very literal way as being what needs to announced to the market for regulatory reasons. This is a very narrow-minded view that is doing the share price no favours. Whereas the companies that do well on AIM view RNSs as opportunities to promote the share to market participants who may not know anything about the company, and to convince them to research further and eventually invest. These companies also use RNSs to give bite-sized messages of positivity to keep investors updated and happy to continue staying invested despite everything else they may see going on in the market. It’s important that Bushveld adopt this change of mindset to future RNSs for stock market success. It should not take a forum of longterm investors deciphering the best bits of the RNS between themselves, because those sorts of places are already an echo chamber, where few potential new investors frequent.
Points (2) and (3) link in with the above and with each other. When RNSs include too much information, the best messages can drown in the thousands of words that are published at the same time, minimising the impact they would have had otherwise on the share price. To avoid this, there should be more frequent RNSs, with bite-sized chunks of positive info and progress, released at intervals across a period of time, rather than keeping quiet for weeks if not months on end, before a ‘mega RNS’ is suddenly dropped.
How to achieve this? I would suggest splitting up the RNS updates between Bushveld Minerals (incl Bushveld Vanadium), Bushveld Energy (which may even include the updates from Invinity and Enerox), and possibly a separate one for Bushveld Belco. This could still be followed up by the ‘mega RNSs’ summarising this altogether at quarterly intervals if required. But I feel splitting out the different component parts of Bushveld will help the market realise the current BMN valuation is far too low."
There is no evidence at all that a joint listing will do anything to the SP. The overwhelming majority of those buying in in SA will be II/large PI's with connections who are primed. No issue with this, the African 2-step in play and personally don't care one way or another.
It is a bit delusional to think that suddenly 'action' on a small SA exchange is going to radically change anything. My view has been for some considerable time there are only two things that will materially change our SP (out of this trading range): Moving to the FTSE main board (and away from the MM manipulators) and significant BE sales.
fara - I think we have to accept that Covid has knocked everyone back 9-12 months this year. After all you don't want to list on the market at the wrong time and end up falling by 80% like some of the Vanadium explorer minnows have done in the last couple of years.
so 2 years after first muting it .. we shall see !
