Another drop today then
We need answers across that 180m described as reservoir, pressure spike, temperature increase and shows.
Exactly! So is this unexpected sand such a surprise or mystery?
http://www.searchanddiscovery.com/documents/2009/10185luzzi_arbouille/images/luzzi-arbouille.pdf Why wouldn't you pop in a drill bit..?
Is the Cretaceous prospectively the potential material upside COC we're talking about? It has remained under the radar..
If they went 50m below the sand zone as planned originally than the reservoir/s are a whopping 130m..
Now look back at 1,3,5..
And this unexpected sand IM-6 has been described as a reservoir..
Jokes aside, it sounds like a further extension of the Epsilon complex to me.. what is interesting is the additional depth drilled past the planned target..
Maybe they studied the info upside down! 😉
https://m.marketscreener.com/LIQUEFIED-NATURAL-GAS-LTD-6497684/news/Liquefied-Natural-Gas-Production-Cameroon-Puts-Second-Project-On-Track-26754898/ These articles have been written before the results of the latest drill which poked to see if they could upgrade the field even further. It will be interesting to hear why they decided not to test what appears to be a discovery lower down.. articles are pointing out it's something that warranted testing.. unexpected sand body? Is it 180m thick? Under pressure? Significant Gas shows? a pressure spike to higher than well design tolerance? Will they now plan a lower depth on IE4? Redesign the well to allow for higher pressure and temp in an unexpected sand zone? All sounds exciting to me..
I don't think that kind of info will be freely available however a vessel capacity of 32,000 b/d condensate gives a clue.. somewhere below that capacity I would say? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/mozambiqueminingpost.com/2018/06/11/africa-oil-gas-cameroon-newage-sign-flng-fiscal-terms/amp/
Thanks Marmited, was aware of this but cant find anything about what the final go ahead is contingent on regards volumes Tuesday call may enlighten, cheers
bluemooon71 https://mobile.offshoreenergytoday.com/report-new-age-pens-deal-to-develop-etinde-field-using-flng-unit-cameroon/ Pen appears already put to paper..
Lots of chat(and comfort being taken) about Blvn share value of Etinde and how this relates to SP when added to cash. BUT key risk here i guess is, is there sufficient gas/condensare already found to go for FID or do we need more? If latter, then if IE4 draws a blank theyll need more drills for which Blvn isnt carried. Big telecall on Tuesday if this is the case. Any views?
Simple answer is.. No the results were( not very good) as officially declared in yesterdays RNS..
I had hoped that COC were the pros!
I wonder what their next move is.. at this price the market is pricing ETINDE value for BLVN at 12 million GBP..
Were the results of the drill orchestrated so New age can pay nothing for ETINDE... makes you think.
Their hands are tied.. the cannot buy anymore stock for COC, they will be at 30%.. interesting times.
it hit higher-than-expected pressure due to gas shows at 3370.
would expect some statement on how this changes current expectations
Interesting, put large amount bought yesterday at 27 on limit sale at 31.25 and within 2 minutes large sells went through to drop price. Coincidence?
down we go again
I would say the it was PI's that sold yesterday and picked up buy MM's.. thats the market thou.
Im surprised Newage and Lukoil like all this information to be public knowledge.. if they bought BLVN its all kept to themselves.
I would be happy with 20 % if New age FID this year..
The old question arises ... 20 or 25 per cent ?? I'll email the company tonight....
