Well summed up!
1 another rns on route..it would seem them..
Agree Was hoping he would help make the new strategy a success and look to protect pi's As not running etinde and could cut deal not to run bomono the company has a different model Just wanted someone as a check and balance if Oc wanted to borrow money to put the company into debt as a way of off loading assets at below value
voted him out last time will vote him out this time
Richard What evidence do you have about COC which gives you confidence that they have the integrity, ability or plan which justifiies replacing directors with O&G technical experience with those who have , as far as we know, none. There is the small matter of relationships with the Cameroon government. Do you know something the rest of us do not? What is the agenda of COC? Billy Allen I trust. I assume he can be relied upon to look after the best interests of shareholders, both institutions and PI's. If COC come up with great plans, I assume he would not block. If COC just wish to grab the chequebook I assume he would not play ball. Sometimes it is prudent to beware what you wish for. Mel
Not too difficult to decide who I have more faith in moving this company forward. Billy Allen's share holding was a point worthy of reminding share holders on too.

I would have supported Billy if he had the decency to accept the outcome of the popular vote. He needs to go. Just using his power to shite on the democratic vote is disgraceful. Just shows how much these leeches look after each others' interest rather than that of shareholders.
I am now a shareholder and support Billy Allen wholeheartedly and will vote accordingly. Monaco based COC have given no evidence that they have the experience and ability to run Bowleven. I am more concerned about whether they have integrity. If they wish to bid for Bowmore - that is fine. Perhaps they would need pockets deeper than they have . Bowleven did not have the resources to develop Etinde. Lukoil does and 20% is huge. I shall certainly vote against the appointment of new directors. Mel
This will be the last chance to top up... 56p is where this will finish
looks like someone is increasing there stake
the lot of 'em!
I never normally post, but yesterday sent the email below. No reply. AN UTTER DISGRACE that Billy Allen is behaving like this. HE SHOULD RESIGN Katie please pass this on, THANK YOU Billy The General Meeting of shareholders voted You can't ignore the vote Whilst I have been a big supporter of BLVN ( holding within family in SIP and ISA's over 3 million shares ) I recognized all but one of the proposals were passed To dismiss you wasn't ( but that was by the finest of margins) I understand you effectively and unilaterally have decided to carry on as usual That we are continuing as before but without Kevin sitting on the Board That is outrageous and you should be held accountable by the shareholders to respect their decision We did not need to sell our holding in Etinde down by such a huge amount We should have taken some risk off the table but we did not need to raise that much cash AND what have we done with it! We are now under new management and you can't ignore and simply retain Kevin in his role and have him reporting directly to you You do yourself a huge disservice Richard
On the back of their commitment to do what ever it takes.. Im surprised we are not trading up in the 40's
this could run and run....
The battle for bLVN is now in play....Shows how much Etinde in worth...
Post rec'd. How on earth did this guy survive the vote in the first place? Looking at the performance of the old BOD I cannot understand how they all got anywhere near 50% of the votes, let alone the chairman getting more than 50% (and with NIL skin in the game as you rightly said chris211) Total disgrace!
At least we know they will keep on till they get what they want...
require a good beating with the reality stick
Surprise, surprise! 2nd EGM coming up !
That COC will continue to buy shares in order to guarantee the result at the next meeting. The current overpaid execs seem to value a few more week's salary above their dignity. Not a clever strategy.
me, the old BOD are more deluded than corben. share holder have spoken these guys are a disgrace
They will get there way one way or another..
