Rates will go up as sure as we know the sunsets and rises...inflation will go out of control if they dont act
I own TSLA for 2 years now and am quite happy to be along for the ride at the moment. Not going to argue that the price in any way reflects performance today but sometimes that just does not matter. Tesla is all about the future and Musk. There are alot of wealthy people willing to bet on his vision and so long as he can deliver the Model3 this year shorts will continue to be burned. Next month will tell a lot. If nothing more TSLA has been an antidote to the frustration of watching BKIR.
carl ichan made a blunder selling @ $ 100 even he bought in @ $60
.. it is the sector to be in.. the FED has approved capital plans for 34 large banks including BBVA from Spain. Most banks were higher.. FED rates were also raised this month.. The UK is also talking higher interest rates.. Draghi will be forced to increase rates..
Congi, it is a term of endearment.
.. warren buffet bought apple.. warren takes good care of his stocks .. no one dares to short his stocks..
What does the F stand for Surely it stands for Fairtrade or maybe it stands for Lemon
What does the 'F' stand for? Or is it appropriate or this forum?
This share not called the FKIR for no reason.
It's bloody hard when I see most other stocks up 2 or 4 pct
the reason auto stocks are weak right now is because wall st has parked traditional auto and hitched its wagon to the electric - tesla bubble , notice all this blather about how everyone will either be driving electric cars in ten years or not at all , self driving cars are the latest hullabulloo when the tesla bubble runs its course , dirt cheap stocks like bmw , daimler and gm will rally , could take a few more years however but all of the above easily cover their hefty dividends , unlike the likes of BP or shell which has minimal if near non existant dividend cover
Your first lucid observation Cooking! Couldn't agree more.Im generally a contrarian investor and when u have small investors buying and institutions selling we know who is going to be crushed
Bob when it comes to GM and Ford sales you need to dig a little deeper. In the US anyway (not sure about Europe) sales revenues are book at manufacture not sale. US dealerships are crammed full of unsold cars at the minute. Not so long ago dealers worked on a 70 day delivery to sale ratio. That's been pushed up to 110 days with dealers been forced to rent off site storage for the amount of extra cars they have in stock. When some companies say "record sales" that can be misleading. Expect to see Ford and GM reduce sales estimates this year. By the way, inventories in the farm commodities and oil are the same in the US. the country will sink under the weight of stored grain soon. Old air force sites are been used for storage at this stage with a bumper 2017 crops predicted as well. Apologies, off topic I know but there's little more that can be said about Bkir for now.
Normally when people start talking about filling ones boots, sit back and enjoy the ride etc etc that's not a good omen
Welsh boy can you let me know if you find any information, after investing over 4 grand years ago I now seem to only have 28 shares, how does that work?
I have to agree, fill your boots, wait for the dividends next year and sit back and watch it grow. However it has been a tortuous few years!
This is a long term hold lads, fill ur boots, sit back and stop looking at this thread everyday, u are adding stress onto something that is really out of your control.
and London started hammering the bid at .2225..
This will be known as Lunar Bank after all the Lunatics that invested in it
I do not agree with your estimate of 2022, it is more likely to be 2032.
Does anyone really know whats happening, No ,Is it going anywhere in the near future ,No,Did Ross have some insight, Yes,thats why he bailed, This bank will not build up a head of steam for a long while yet , I myself have penciled in the year 2022 to bail out and I firmly believe by then all this dome and gloom will just be memories so all you negative posters, its a big waiting game, but GLA the good days will return, but they are a while off yet
Will need to change , either goverment sell ups , special dividend (unlikely), to get this to rally , hopefully cet1 ratio gets better in next results
being held down by someone big with an agenda , happens to stocks all the time auto stocks across europe and the usa have been held down for two years , bmw , daimler , gm , ford , all have record sales , dividend yields of over 4% and PE,s of around 7 on average , thats an entire sector , apple stayed around $100 for more than two years , its $150 now despite having done nothing it hasnt done for several years
.. i would also be cautious.. the govt apparently has a list of investors purposely kept out of the bidding for aib.. unless they fine.. penalize.. prohibit these particular funds this erratic trading could continue.. thats the way this works..
