The price is very low and I know of no reason why it has fallen so much It should be a lot more stable than other companies in the sector. Most of the work is maintenance and repair and needs to be done to meet legal requirements. Might buy a few more.
Is there any reason the sp has been falling over the last 2 weeks ,I cannot find any reason for this ??????
Sold Galliford to buy Bilby. Looking like a good shout.
More great news..
nice... but expected :)
I stand corrected as BILB is doing nicely. Seems like it's aiming for 127 again.
I suspected nice little shake on friday on profit taking. Up we go !
The price is down but try to buy and the spread has widened. Doesn't seem any reason for the fall.
Carillion or not, Bilby is heading down.
Threeput. Yeah thanks for that. Good to hear from guys on here who have the experience. I'll prob hold onto them for a while see what happens I'm sure I'll make a few mistakes but I'm cautious so just steady away for me. I'm trying to get my head round day trading or swing trading if I have to leave in that is lol. I've had a dabble in the past but was like 6 years ago. Did well on Thomas cooks big drop at the time. Anyway big hello to the community.
Aust, I think your 120ish target is about right although it may take a while with a few ups and downs along the way. I've been in this share on & off including the lovely initial rise to around 170 (I eventually sold around 130), I seem to recall there was some support around 120 before it dropped through (they lost a major customer at that time). It should be a good share if you want to hold long term
're day trader. Ok I see. Well it seems to have closed a bit short of 130. Babbler did mention he bought in the 92.5 so I'm sure not too upset. I'd have thought it may go up 120 ish or around at some point as it was up there a month back and dropped during the CLLN debacle and bilby saying they are not financially exposed. That's the only reason I've come to that conclusion but I'm a newby so I may be barking up the wrong tree.
Austral, Babbler is a day trader. If he has not already sold he will do before his price prediction.
Babbler . Really do you think it will go to 130. Just wondering what brings you to that conclusion and when you think it will reach 130. It's ok babbler I'm quite new to trading so just on my early stages of my portfolio. I do do my own dyor so all's cool lol
yup - holding for a while imo - my top slice is 1.30.
Looking good. Hopefully get above the 120. I've read they have said they have no exposure to carillion downfall.
Agreed Babbler. Certainty over CLLN impact is out of the way and price can move onwards and probably beyond 127 resistance.
bought at 92.5 - all buys - nice
recovery bounce today - imo. Back to 1.20 plus next few days...
yes totally agree and with a dividend due soon some extra cash for everyone too
Have been a holder since the float & taken some good profits over past couple of years. Now topped up back at 61p. In January 2016 t touched 162p & is in a much stronger position now with a load of long term contracts. This next year's P/E ratio will be in single figures so I hope 162p will be surpassed in 2018. Happy New Year to all holders. This is a low profile brilliant share.
I must be the only one here then!! nice rise today with minimal trading and no news yet this board is still quiet
nice to see a rise again today. pushing up to where we deserve to be. no chat on here since 30th june. im i the only holder with LSE now?
Brokers mopping up inpatient investors. Don't give up your shares on the cheap.
I'm guessing this answers the question on why the price was not moving. Obviously filling these massive orders. Looking at the history, when this moves, this moves! Wonder how many shares are in free float now after them purchases!
