well said hopeabound, I always use the analogy of a snooker player.....you can be the best potter in the world but the trick is to be able to control the white ball to give you maximum advantage.
So in shares, you do your fundamental analysis and decide that you like the company, then use the technicals to time your entry.
Some just don`t get how charts are used, but like you say, each to their own.
You're about right Swervington. Bids investors and the mm's have had plenty of updates over the past few months...but now its all gone a bit quiet and the share price has lost its sparkle. JD will be updating us all and the share price will rise again. 2years down the line is much more exciting than 2 weeks down the line. They will come good.
Actually, you can predict the immediate future with a chart - that is the whole point of it. As previously mentioned, it can be a useful trading tool as part of a whole set when entering or exiting a company. Charts and the equations that make up the indicators can be useful for entry and exit points and or indicators as to what is going to happen over the next day or two. I have improved my outcomes because of it. Depending on whether you intend to be in a company for 5 minutes, a day, week or months or years - then all manner of tools are required, of course, including research. You can get by without charts but to rubbish them as if they are somehow useless is potentially to the detriment of your own outcomes. Not sure why anyone would willingly do that. But as previously said, each to their own.
I think this radio silence from jd is encouraging the mms to throttle this share. Therefore i cant see this moving till we get some real news. The good sign is it aint long till Xmas
It is an incredibly simple question Bottomzup...please answer it.
Honestu you are allowed one slip up if your wrong but never if your always right. LOL
DMcG54, welcome, I wasn`t trying to belittle your post, merely to point out to those who may not be aware that it is wise to use more than one signal if you`re going to use charting in your research.
Candlestick analysis is a very good research tool if it is used to confirm other buy signals.
Good point swerv i was wrong once !
We all have differing views and should respect that fact. No one person is right
Your questions don`t even make any sense helx, go back to bed mate.
What is it you disagree with Bottomzup.....dentsu providing the 6million quid...or that you can't predict the future of a share by looking at a chart?
We need some real news via rns to get this moving and its been a long time coming.
Thats the reality of it all
Here comes the intellectual thoughts of Mr Insecurity.....an inspiration to open thinking indeed.
Well done.
Bob is just saying it's a load of shyte.....and he's perfectly correct.
No point at all...just sayin
Not sure what your point is, they are professional in that they tell the correct story of how candelstick patterns are understood, but if someone just goes by this system `only` they will be taking a higher risk with their decisions on Bids.
And they are professional chartists as I understand it ???
:-)
This site just focuses on candlesticks, it is but one signal when a serious charting trader will be looking for several signals all confirming each other.
If you look at the 11 signals they have generated on Bids since Sept 2nd, they have got it right 4 times and wrong 7 times!
Nuff said.
