Beaten by a 100/1 shot
Won its last 18. Yes 18. And evens ?? Reve de sivola for me something's a foot
Very strange big bucks is even money tomorrow 3.35 Cheltenham apologies for any non racing punters but this horse is Mohamed Ali at his best and it's even money????????? What do u think arctic? There must be whispers that it's not the same horse ? It's not been evens for 3 years
I think today confirmed the great fed isn't going to win another slam on this surface. Great guy great role model ,, nevermind. Interesting watching blackpool tomorrow ( new manager farcical comments a club in crisis?? Possibly) 3-3 for £50. Tom ince to be booked.?? Daddy sacked suggests he will be more frustrated than determined. Gl all :)
I had the same bet. Federer served and volleyed poorly by his standards, however overall he was just outplayed
Btw I'm not a lad holder but an opportunity looks like it's presenting itself and I probably buy in if 150 holds tomorrow gl
I know what your saying but cash over the counter/machine is twice the fraud anything online can't deal with. Online bets are from bank accounts and can be frozen at any moment Scotland Yard say so. Cash however can't. ( shops) Don't forget Irving in the betfair hurdle. Maybe not one to back but to watch ready for Cheltenham , watched his pre races and looks another istabraq in the making. Time will tell us feb8th. Arctic. Lad have recently appointed a new advertising agency ( itv/sky approved) and will be all guns blazing for 2014. And has an exchange. ( Aussie figures in March will show HUGE increase for sure) Long term I don't see growth for ANY bookie who has no exchange platform but that's just me awtfdik lad looks market cap in a conservative/undervalued place. Billy's and pap look top heavy Great bookies don't get me wrong but not moving with the times. Not a bet ramper and rest assured if Billy's and pap go down the exchange road ( I think all will in time) I will dump bet quicker than a Murray serve as they still have the clout to put them on there Harris Until them I'm invested in a company with an ever growing revenue/customers gl and enjoy the tennis :)
Definitely not a LAD holder. I hate the place, I have been a solid gambler for years and never warmed to the layout, slips etc (OCD). I 100% agree with you why have shops at all when in people are basically carrying them around in their pockets. I guess what I was trying to say was that High St bookies have that initial draw to new punters. In particular casual ones which often bet infrequently on events like the WC. They are not interested bet exchanges (at least initially). They just want to place a bet and these are the places they have heard of because they have seen them with their own eyes. In time this will all change, but not significantly in the next year or 2, and certainly not before the WC. I am not invested in any Gaming shares although I would like to invest both in Betfair and Will Hill. I will be steering clear of Ladbrokes don't think they have much of a future unless they really change the way they do things, in particular towards mobile betting etc. Just waiting on things to settle down before I by in. I would rather wait for a bottom than try to predict it. Cheers good luck with your bets guys. I am off tomo so early rise to watch the latest installment of FED vs RAFA
M8 I would to believe that people always wanting to pop in the bookies is a given. But I beg to differ. The 21 century gambler has a bookie in its back pocket/ handbag (or both scary thoughts) 25 year olds of today have only know this way. Slow decline but it will decline year on year. I'm old school. I did my Xmas shopping on the high street and all that ( not amazon I fekin hate the company) But that's where we are heading sad. Just like the butcher baker and candlestick maker. I'm sure your a lad holder ?? Interesting times ahead and if they start to really push/advertise betdaq then fortunes could turn and quickly. Gl
Inclined to agree. After all beating an in form nd suggests he's capable. And the rest as you say is a big advantage (especially if it goes to 5 sets) had a decent day At meydan today had 2 winners 9/1 and 5/1 ( was close to shouting up jamesie 9/1 opening race winner on here but form was patchy lol sorry) Took 1.81 on Fulham Swansea both teams to score £360 and 2-1 for £240. Looks a good bet as both leak goals for bet and laudrup is rumoured to be leaving ASAP so it's gonna be a long season for swan with that playing on players minds. And Liverpool a decent wedge bet I think, Everton looked poor the other night and I think they are gonna start feeling the heat. Gl all
Yeah good shout. And fed 1st set will go in my Acca Stan looks good but gotta question his temperament , wonder what price an all Swiss final was?
As pretty of topic but just read this article on Dimitrov, his similarities to Fed and the effectiveness of his tactics against Nadal. It's certainly made me change my thoughts on the outcome of their match http://www.tacticaltennisblog.com/five-things-federer-can-learn-dimitrovs-match-nadal/
I would have to agree sports results have been unfavourable, as for the weather not sure what the argument is there postponement of matches, events?? I have noticed that Betfair have visibly increased their advertising and change their free bet policy to at least match that of other leading bookies. This may lead to many existing customers leaving the likes of WH and Ladbrokes for Bet Fair, I would still argue that WH and Lads will attract more new customers given their High st presence leading to a familiarity and trust. So i'm not too sure quite how many customers they are actually losing, although I would be interested to find out for sure
I'd say £8.80 range is possible. But stab in the dark would be settling near the £9.50 mark ( CVC takeover offer)It's 6 weeks till next update so there is not much to buy into at the mo,
Fed does seem more aggressive since Stefan took over coaching not sure that will play to his strengths against nadal but it's set up for a great game. Bet is being shorted I'm convinced, volume is as normal as it's been for months. High street bookies have fallen out of favour regards fobts, poor performances for sports book excuses have been linked to weather and winning favourites but what nobody has ever muted is that it's losing customers to BET due to its exchange platform. That's a fact.
I really fancied Fed as well but didn't back him despite Murrays back trouble/fitness. Federer has improved recently, and Nadal has a nasty blister on his hand which seems to be hampering him some what. Still I would stay away from Fed on this one. He has a poor record vs Nadal and isn't as mentally strong. Could go either way basically. Man Utd should win tonight. As for Betfair funny how they are being dragged into the woes of High St bookies. Anyone care to predict the bottom. Is betfair being shorted?
Man U 4-1 or 4-2. Mata arrival will lift the spirits. Wish I backed federer today was a good price 1.71 never mind. He looked very attacking do u fancy him against nadal?
Here we go. Banked profit after 4 mins lol
City - minus 3 is 7.2. Go two up in first half be a 250/300% profit
Bookies friendless at the moment. Trading statement was the best on the market (3 weeks ago) All US start up expediture done and priced in. Business growing , business growing in Italy and booming in Oz .. Booming in UK and same in Ireland. Exited all high risk countries and set well placed for the accumulator take growth for World Cup (I'm predicting record figures way above city forecast this year ) And possibly a fresh takeover approach. Mind you if lad keeps dropping then they could become the prey! Gl
Why is this dropping if Betfair don't have FOBTS? Any reason at all or just bad sentiment for the sector as a whole (even though that doesn't make much sense)?
Getting dragged down by its old hat neighbours! Come on. Business doesn't rely nor own fekin FOBTs
You've backed him before. Nothing on?
Cashed out @ 1 nil m8. Backed to win also cashed out. Clawing money back. Man City 3-0 for me maybe 4. West ham are just gonna go through the motions and get it over with
You watching game mate got everton to win.
