ooops,wrong bae
As a current BAE employee and investing via II SIPP and also via salary at BAE direct. I can say we are in a good position across all areas, this dip is purely a Market fluctuations/US and China squabbles and Brexit negotiations and share price is scandalously cheap. I see it going up 150p by April 2019 , so a definite steal and buy.
Great share growth in last 3 years making confident hold. Plenty of future tech on hold and extending deliveries worldwide. Bae making absolute sense.
Hope fellow shareholders after receiving the share offer paperwork today take no action in selling the shares at such a poor offer and stop them reaching the crucial 90%. We and Beales deserve a lot better, when the current board are working hard to turn this company around. I for sure will not accept.
Good deal for Rose. **** for shareholders. Glad when I got out with my £12 profit. Today low rent food retailers. Tomorrow low rent department stores. If you have ever been to Germany their retail offer is really poor across all sectors unless you are in a really major city. Be warned if this continues we can all expect crap quality in all retail areas in the years ahead.
Fortunately yes. It was always on the cards that Perloff would force an issue but the takeout price is a joke for all those still holding.
.
What a terrible offer, and real shame as current board were showing signs of turning the store around. I for one, as a very regular customer will take my trade elsewhere if this goes through, as would rather not deal with people like English Rose.
Got bored watching nothing happening so sold off.
Any thoughts on whether Perloff might sell and abandon Beale or perhaps just bid for the company ? Anyway I am the sole buyer today so far....Thought it worth a small flutter.
I agree with Belly1966, in my alter ego I deal with Beales as a supplier and have always found them very professional in their approach. As we run to peak sales time during Q4 I can see nothing but an upside for this business if losses continue to narrow whilst they keep control of their costs. In saying this all bets are off if BOE increases the interest rate during 2014.
..
Beales on wheels from here on . Good luck all
Results are pretty reasonable and the uptrend should continue from here . Good luck all
I tend to invest on gut instinct as well as research and I just have an inkling that Beales could benefit from older spend as the economy gets better. Many of the stores are in small market towns that are just big enough to serve the needs of pensioners who may not want to travel to a nearby larger town. That's what my gut tells me - but it also told me to bet on Uruguy to win the world cup!!!!!!
revenue means nothing if you are spending even more on op costs.
revenue of ~60M compared to very low mcap.
More buys than sells over the last few weeks with no reason behind it as far as I can see. Anyone any ideas why?
Can't help thinking how stale the stores look.
