This has to be my best share in 40 years of trading.
Gone now, but worth noting the David Paul on Vectorvest talked and blogged about these back in October. Also talks on IG TV here. On Branduk this morning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdckbjueA9M
Yep. Same here. Hopefully some PIs did well out of the super jump today.
this was penny share not so long ago , ahh what do i know about investing .
The RNS for the sale of property said expected completion 5 February- a bit disconcerting that there has been no RNS confirming completion? The share price slippage is strange and a bit disconcerting, on the face of it these seem absolute stonking value. Also the finance costs for year to Sept 15 were £1.6m- is it a reasonable assumption that eliminating the net debt through sale of the studios could pretty much add this to the bottom line? Trying to find a reason not to keep adding here, I'm probably a bit too invested in this one already!
no, I just bought in at 2.14 on the huge reduction of debt and the likelihood of the closure of a part of their business that is making a loss. Remarkably its dropped below the spike it gained on results, some of that is simply due to the general malaise currently in the market imo. The Naked Trader also has a position here at 204, "Avesco produced a very strong statement this week and shares are rocketing on the back of that, should be more to come" I think the time to take some profit off the table was on the spike on results, never wrong to take profits but might be worth giving it a chance a) in the hope that markets make some recovery from current support level b) because I think this has possibly reached a retrace point of support and why I bought in c) goes ex-divi on 11th March d) still looks decent value (Disclaimer: I could be wrong !)
This share has now doubled for me in not much more than a year, and although I'm tempted to believe it still has a lot of upside, I'm also tempted to sell half and hold the remainder as free shares. Is there anyone out there who has serious doubts about the company's future?
Also just noticed with £16m sale of freehold property has a leaseback at a 'nominal' rent- nice deal!
Look pretty good, operating profit £4.9m in an odd year. MCap looks a bargain.
Broke through 200p today, excellent news and I can't see why we should stop there. It seems the americian business is flying and it will help support constant profitability. I can see 400p here in two years DYOR.
Well the half year results were good, directors are buying shares & directors are selling shares (and indeed the largest transaction is a sell which suggests someone thinks it is over blown & time to cash in). But on those facts a 65% rise still doesn’t really stack up for me based on the fact we are nearly at the same price as prior to the distribution of the Disney cash, which I think at the time totalled more than (or close to) the market capitalisation of the company. Still an unexplained rise is far more welcome than an unexplained fall.
You guys for real, read the rns releases in the last couple of weeks, do your sums and you'll see why the rise.
The last yearly rise though was on expectation of the Disney legal case paying out. The question I can't see any answers to is what is driving this rise? Director buys surely can't be the only reason.
Wish I had sat on my hands longer now
Chunky director buy for £136k this afternoon, dividend on that in March is over £6k.
4.5p dividend around March announced, trading profits increasing, increasing margins, reducing net debt
Spread opening up. Some more movement?
Why then crease today? Leak of news to come or just strong business?
my radar Rolly, multiply them figures out and this is a bargain any way that you look at it.
Buy buy buy, no one really interested here but this is falling under the radar and goring well today
was hoping for a jump up now that share buy back has occured - any thoughts as to why not happened ??
Sorry should read 12th March
gives a return of %3.63 based on current SP. Not bad considering the recent SP drop, IMHO this will rise between now and then, Worth a punt.
I think that it is meant to be completed by the end of February. I think the same regarding the price, each share will represent a higher stake in the company!?
