I wasn't going into specifics but fair play, I did say at the check in.
A queue 2 metres apart. Spit on a stick. If clear near the entrance then ENTER and give everybody else who has passed the test a big bear hug when you enter the building.
"Similarly with airlines - if everyone took the test at the check in (in all countries) then you would know that everyone on the plane is virus free with no need for social distancing."
Airport authorities will insist that nobody is getting anywhere near a check in desk until they have been POC tested in the car park. No-one is entering a terminal unless POC is negative.
Exactly but this test could stop the virus being continually spread around the world.
Before borders are crossed (by plane, train, boat car etc) a test should be compulsory.
To allow journeys, accommodation, work, schooling and events (plus many more), a 10 minute test could be taken to eliminate any need for social distancing. I've been playing the scenarios in my head for weeks now and I can't see there being another way.
You can shove the thermometer checks from a distance, swab testing, antibody testing up your arse because the world moves fast and these either take too long or are not accurate. Why would you have temperature if you've just caught Covid19 and it takes two days at least to show any symptoms. We all know the failings we have had with swab testing. As for antibody testing - a big gamble because you don't know if you can get it again like you do flu or a common cold. Anyway, I would rather know if someone has the virus now compared to if they have had the virus in the past - not at this point in time until we know if you can only ever catch it once.
Avacta - working with a billion dollar pharma subsidiary (pending RNS for further collaborations)
Avacta - test that can be used on unused hospital equipment and give quick results on mass (pending RNS)
Avacta - pregnancy test using saliva (thanks Boris) that gives results in minutes (pending RNS that it works, which Sir Al says it does and in the meantime a distribution network has been set up for when the product is ready).
Avacta - working on a drug that blocks Covid19 (ie stops its progression (pending RNS)
Avacta - PreCision drug that is going to be trialled at the end of this year / beginning of next year to target tumours without destroying your good cells and without you going through the whole torture process of chemo.
Avacta - there's loads more but I won't go on.
In my opinion, there is too much forward planning that has already being done for this pregnancy type test not to work.
I am very confident with my investment in this company.
I'll be honest with you, the only thing that I am not confident with is the MM. I believe that they are shafting us and there is nothing that we can do about it. This is the AIM casino right. Therefore, your patience and belief in this company must prevail or they will win. Don't panic when they start playing again, which they probably will do tomorrow if there is no news. They know it is going to be big with good news and they are driving it down big time in anticipation of good news.
Multiply this for all sport events, theatre, and music arenas. The test would allow events to progress and the tests being a small proportion of the cost of the event. This will be the norm for the future. Any large public gatherings.
Good one Rusty.
A rapid test that is added onto the entrance fee is the only way forward.
Similarly with airlines - if everyone took the test at the check in (in all countries) then you would know that everyone on the plane is virus free with no need for social distancing. The ones that fail the test will not be allowed past check in.
So here we are waiting for possibly the most important unlocking of one of the worlds problems............avactas ‘pregnancy test’. Maybe its a few days off or even a couple of weeks and everyone is panicking ?. Settle down as no one on this planet is anywhere near were we are currently at with this approval. This will be monumental and this is why........ Today silverstone announced 2 x grand prixs in august behind closed doors. This results in 700,000 not watching live their passion. Lost revenue to silverstone @ an average £100 a ticket of £70m. In steps AVACTA with pregnancy test at say £25 a head. Revenue to silverstone now plus £70m. Cost to silverstone £0 (customer pays). Profit to AVACTA say 50% (gross) £8,750,000. That what my friends is what we are waiting for.
Good luck to all and sell if you need to. R.
