i brought some end of sept and use by date is feb 28 can’t remember what my first lot i brought was
My buffer solution pack has a factory symbol with 2021-07-06 and what looks like an expiry of 2022-02-28.
Ref 10711110 Lot AV060721-5
gje306...I get you on that but do we know what the on the shelf time is for our LFT. That is to say if the shelf life is only 4 months for example then product produced end Oct would expire end Feb. Do we know what the use by date was for the first deliveries? If it was end Feb too then we know they are working off their first order. Do we also know what their first order volume was.
Seems a bit disjointed.
Think it's the buffer solution that has the shorter used by date of Feb
Here we go
https://ibb.co/09vRbLy
Same, just checked. Here’s some other details
Label: 00752 v3
Use by: 2022-05
Ref: 11712100
Lot: AVLFD-006-6
Can you show us pics Timster?
The actual lateral flow devices in my box have 2022-05 on the plastic packets. So its a bit odd because thats the bit with the magic Affimers in.
I thought the same.
Bella, my main point was that bioserve are still shipping old stock. If they were shipping 2m per month the boxes would have fresh use by dates on them.
bit of feedback on Affidx, the buffer solution container is ****e. they need to switch to the twist off top one the Chinese use.
I sent this feedback to avacta too
gje306...Distributors don't just ship from their own stock...they have usually have several options
1. Own stock sales.
2. Larger orders can often be put through to the manufacturer for direct delivery.
3. House Accounts these are orders taken direct by the Principal (Avacta) and shipped either direct from the Principals own stock (I doubt they hold their own stock at their own premises), fed through to the Distributor to ship from their stock or a special consignment stock held alongside specifically for House Accounts or direct from Manufacturer.
If House Accounts are fed direct to manufacturer, the Distributor is often made aware of such an order so they can add any large orders they wish to service from production rather than their stock or to add another stock order for themselves.
A good Distributor should have a flexible working relationship with their Principal and the Manufacturer.
I was Owner of multimillion $ Distribution company in the US.
If the use by date is 28th Feb on these boxes of affidx, which is incidentally the same as mine which I received back in August, then this suggests Bioserve are still shipping the initial batches of affidx that were manufactured by mologic.
As others have suggested, any large or significant orders are likely to be on ice until approvals and orders are lined up. There's no way that Avacta or Abingdon would wear the risk of manufacturing millions of lft's upfront, they simply don't have the resources to do that.
What medusa are up to, and where they are manufacturing is a different question, and of course we don't have the foggiest on that front, but my guess is that this is also on ice until HUA has been received.
Thanks. will follow up this morning in that case.
They were pretty quick, they emailed within a few hours, paid it by bacs and it was dispatched next day.
You can also pay by card over the phone.
Once ordered online "pay by invoice" is the default/only means to pay. How long did they take to follow up with you to issue invoice/take payment? Ordered over weekend but nothing since...
Mine are 28th Feb too.
Yep 28th Feb 2022
Got mine today as well, has yours got a Feb 22 use by date? Was a bit dissapointed by that will need to be handing them out for Xmas presents!
Also £20 P&P is an absolute rip.
Timster , I expect there is an unofficial line that if you are under review and as the delay is U.K. gov end, they will say carry on selling them until the review is complete. They have no one to enforce anyway. When it’s their fault the GOV won’t enforce as it won’t stand up in court.
I’m still waiting for my FOI request which is due tomorrow. I asked how many staff were reviewing the tests and how many companies are waiting for their review to complete, having paid their fees and submitted the necessary on time.
#NCYT up still 100% was up 150% today. But VERY NEGETIVE CLOSE. Target £3.
#GDR up 120% in two days. Could go to 50p! Risky buying here!
#AVCT uponly 5%. Highs this year of +£2.90. Now trading at £1.26p. Offers the biggest potential and lowest risk!
GLA! DYOR!
on a serious note though, how have Bioserve sold me these? they obviously don't care about the desktop review
My Affidx are here.... :)
