This will have a good positive effect on this years figures with the full effect next year. It's almost as if this company can't stop growing. What a success story.
Interesting. Now 1000500 purchased so far this year. Say 1.5% with almost a quarter to go. Coupled with the interim Divi recently declared and you can't say they've forgotten their shareholders!

Hi S740, yes possibly a short term hiccup but as we have recently added planes it shouldn't hit revenue. As you say it won't be difficult to either sell (and they say the planes book value is lower than the market rate) or lease on.
The only negative is that I understand that at the usual end of the lease involves the leasing company paying to remove there branding. That may not happen here.
I would say that it's too soon to say. The airline has apparently always run profitably, so if the administrator can get a prompt sale for it then any loss should be minimal. If not, then we have three newish A321s to move, so there will be a short term hit, however due to the 737 MAX fiasco the world is short of medium range narrow body jets so medium term we may even be receiving a higher lease payment or a sale at over book value. So whilst I see it as an immediate concern, I'm not too worried into the future. Just my initial take.
Presumably some sort of hit to current year profits
How will the collapse of TC hit Avation?

With 11 additional aircraft this year not only are we guaranteed record revenues this year but next year will see the full benefit. Now we're getting an interim divi this is probably my most solid holding.
I am a happy bunny!

Update! now 3 new revenue streams for this year with 4 new streams for next year equalling 10% of annual revenue anyway.
The revenue earnings will be able to fund real dividend growth over the next few years. Rock on Tommy!
