Can anyone tell me why you would want to invest here please. As a cursory glance would suggest they only have their dealings with MEDCENTER left [according to their not updated website - still shows MBLOX despite it now longer relevant to company].
Email THANKS Should be quiet volatile Tuesday
today is the record day... yesterday was the ex-div date... if you owned and sold yesterday you would have not got the divi...if today you are on the record you own the shares and you sell them you shoud get the divi... Do please correct me if I am wrong
Could any one tell me ifyou get the 22p div if you sell today Thanks
Sometimes it pays to gamble, other times not to. I was lucky with PFL.L. bought at 1.65 and 2 hours later sold at 1.94. That was a good gamble
Wish you well, Maverick...
It does appear as though some are buying today already as the price is already going up. I hope they do continue this was. Up rather than down as I have quite high holdings. Bearing on the company position, I am taking a gamble and keeping mine for the moment
If you but today at 9p and the price goes up, and on Tuesday they do not go down, then yes you can. If you but today and they fall during today and more on Tuesday, then you will have to wait until they go up again before you can make a profit. You will not get the 22p being paid to those not holding shares by yesterday (really the day before) and holding them today as well. To make money, you needed to have bought them on or before Thursda. Yesterday was the ex div day and those buying or selling then do not get div. They had to have then by Thursday to get div and have them today which is record day. Hence whey Tuuesday when market opens at 8am, shares will be bought or sold in large volumes. Then it is a time to buy or sell. Buy cheap, sell high. Thats why I said, if you paid 30p or less and they open at 8p, then you break even. If you paid less you win and if you paid more, you lose. That is assuming will open at 8p. I think will open lower as many may have bought for less and will sell to make a profit. Those that paid more, probably will not sell unless they take a loss and do not gamble on the price rising.
so if I buy today at 9 p I can make a profit - ?
thanks, maverick... Good luck!
Record date is today. Yesterday was ex div day, so trades will not get 22p divi.. Today any shares owned will get divi 22p. Is why fell to about 9p yesterday. Hence needs to be apox 9p on opening if you had paid 31 or less. If more, you lose
why? ... sorry, I am new
I but it will be busy Tueday at 8am
Ex divi today.. Free money lol
Badger Thank you sherlock. People should dump this quick in my opinion. Once the BOD get their divis no residual value WO
Get out while you can guys if you bought this morning for the dividend. 30-22=8 therefore the stock should be heading to 8p
The divi record date is 26th, the XD day (today) is the day which the stock trades without rights to the dividend. Even tho its the 26th tomorrow, because of settlement procedures if you buy today you won't be on the shareholder records
Checked
That's the record date , not the Xd date - phone the company, if you have any doubt
sorry guys 26th
should be fine to buy today!
26th
on the rns ex dividend
It went Xd today, there anyone buying today will not get the dividend
Sure is mills
