Yes good RNS that, dare I say I think we might be out of the woods now. Time to fill our boots then
it seems this sort of news as no effect on share price. perhaps the only way up is the discovery of more high grade gold
I'd have thought there would be more of a lift.
Well that's a welcome read!
I can't see it going private. We should see update regarding the debt being restructured. So announcement imminent I suspect ! Only way is up
Anybody got any views on where this is going now ? I guess the threat of a complete takeover is the only thing holding the SP back now. Also does anyone know how many shares approx are in free float ? Cant be that many. With MNG owning what 75% now ? other institutions with another 10% ? 15% approx in free float ? Shares must be getting as rare as hens teeth
That's why you're a professor
I calculate that if the price of gold goes up by 15%, our profit nearly doubles. Right now (based on the 2017 guidance figures) we are going to make about $250/oz profit. If gold goes from $1200/oz to $1400/oz, our profit goes to $450/oz.
Not much going on today but i see we have a new [additional] broker. Anyone like to comment?
yes im sure they are all buys
take no notice of buy/sell,,its a brokers game
good news that they are carrying on the exploration out there, hopefully with good results and if the price of gold rockets we may see double figures one day!!
Am I missing something
http://avesoro.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Avesoro_Corporate_Presentation_January2017.pdf have a look! Looks quite good. I think next week we should see debt restructuring.
morning considering, good to see 2 penetrated though
Positive news, knowing this share it will go down! That's the cynical bit out the way, great news, I always had faith in MNG, they appear to have salvaged something out of the ashes of AUE. Hopefully the good news will keep coming!
RNS out: My calculations are as follows. Corrections please! 90,000-100,000 ozs at an all in cost of $925-$975/oz. If the PoG is $1200/oz, that should represent a profit of $250/oz or overall $22.5m - $25m. or up to £20m. That translates to about 0.4p/share or, at a PE of 10, a SP of 4p. An increase in th PoG could see this grow rapidly.
Mine is .0367p I would be ecstatic if it goes back to 5p. At 30p I am buying beer for everyone.
im living in the past haha
on the due diligence which is being done on the MGN guarantee of the debt restructure. Due by 30th January 2016. So more good news! - now is the time to top up/average down..... just my opinion.
I just had a nice surprise. Rerun the numbers and my average is a staggeringly low 11p Still a mile high but not quite as bad.
your calculations are about right,,iam expecting this to cut costs and the POG to double,,the only downside will be another disaster,,thats why these type of shares should only make up 15% of ones portfolio
AIMforprofit - Indeed that was not so smart (I acted in frustration and shall no doubt repent at leisure). Still with my new holding of £1K I currently need 20p to break even. But rest assured I shall follow ASO closely and buy more if and when my confidence returns. However I doubt if I will sink 5 figures in here again, unless something serious begins to happen with POG that is.
291m market cap = a share price of 5.8p, based on current amount of shares in issue.
$1250 gold price - $845 AISC = $364,500,000.00 $364,500,000.00 = £291,110,935.77 Cant see the market cap of this company being above the value of gold in the ground. My prediction is this wont go above £290m.
