No question. But the real issue is will Arkle be around to see that happen? Every day which passes with Teeling at the helm makes me less optimistic on that front!
Zinc continues to be in strong demand. EV batteries which r booming and will continue to accelerate use zinc
If the future us electric it is also Zinc.
Zinc used in lots of other processes too, like galvanising steel n iron, LOTS of others too.
Stonepark has value
We should just wait until junior miners have a boom and put the company into an FSP. Might be 10-20m that way. Teeling is an absolute clown...
else getting that sinking feeling? This appears to have become a binary bet...sell our share of Stonepark or drift into oblivion. The other assets seem to offer long term 'potential' (putting it kindly!) and we have Mr (dead weight) Teeling at the helm. Deep joy!
As one or two have said on this bb, what if our partners refuse to buy our share of Stonepork and just ask us to keep contributing towards the costs of lots more exploration? Oh dear...
I thought there was a subtle hint Mr. T last interview, that might be looking to move Stonepark on. ( paraphrased) “ we’ve had it a long time, and will be looking to make something happen...”. Something like that.
We know Glencore previously asked for it but there are a few other majors in Ireland,
The future of the company is all about Stonepark imo and the sale of our minority share of the project. This RNS doesn't get us any closer to that sale so we just sit and wait for further drilling. No (new) buyers on the news!!
Teeling will have to defer his retirement lol
very good news.
It’s certainly not lessened the value of our 23.44%
Looks like someone bought 503,886 shares without reading the RNS and 15 minutes later locked in a £277 loss!
Yeah, we’re all still waiting for the damn ‘Buy-out’ rns lol
I suppose i was hoping for a blockbuster RNS where G11 and/or Glencore came knocking at our door with a stupendous offer for our share of the project. Maybe the next drilling update later in the year....
Good news :-)
Drill results could drop at any time now surely?
GL.
Completely worthless administrative leech, needs sacking and replacing with someone capable of spelling their own name, which frankly I wouldn't trust JT to do.
You must be a newbie here! Teeling has been running this company for 14 years (I think?) and what progress has been made in that time? Hands up those that think Teeling has been doing a decent job on behalf of shareholders? Hmm....
I’m thinking exactly the same. Only Stonepark will save us and make us shareholders happy (imo).
What happened here then? Why the beasting?
Lat's just hope that Stonepark drilling is not a dud! If we are relying on Teeling to take the company forward we're in trouble. Plenty of sellers since yesterday's RNS seem to have similar concerns....
Mr. T on stockbox today.
Very subtle hint at the end that looking to sell Zinc / Stonepark and go into lithium.
I may have imagined it but that was my gut feeling
Stonepark / Pallas Green is a different part of the country, better suited to mining and more supportive.
However objectors in the sunny southeast have been coming out against lithium exploration
https://carlow-nationalist.ie/2022/01/11/locals-object-to-lithium-mining-on-the-carlow-wicklow-border/
Stonepark is the only game in town for LTHs!
I had to chuckle at Teeling's comment ('Prospecting will resume in the near future') which probably means he'll get around to doing something in 2024....lol
DVH I agree - IMO lithium is a sideshow here for now at least (though I think Glencore may disagree with the opinion of the poster below regarding Ireland's credentials as a jurisdiction for business!).
Me, I'm awaiting Stonepark news...
I noticed that a number of short term traders jumped in early doors and then sold out at a loss. A few burnt fingers lol The only RNS that will re rate the SP (imo) is the offer to buy our share of Stonepark!!
Group11 needs to make an offer for Arkle and get a London listing -http://www.groupelevenresources.com/investors/capital-structure/
Glencore 22% and Mike Gentile 17% need to make a 1-1.5p offer - win/win for both companies
What is this company doing? Those grades need to be x100 more to be interesting for lithium potential from pegmatites, i.e. 10,000-20,000 ppm. If anything it shows that they are well away from that and given that it would be an extremely difficult part of Ireland to permit any sort of mine I think they are just wasting shareholders money. Most Irish geos I know have given up on Ireland, it has become difficult with a lot of opposition.
If investors want an early stage lithium play they should look elsewhere like Cleantech Lithium (CTL) in Chile, probably a safer jurisdiction than Ireland for mining investment, excellent upside and broker target 3x current price with real resources and excellent management.
This is just another 'scrape the bottom of the barrel' release so they justify their existence..
Found at mine river and Ark are 'delighted'.
Let's hope we are 'delighted' by the SP but sounds very positive.
