falls over the past week. Hope for a rebound northwards soon
to begin? got a feeling next 3 weeks will stutter from 15.75 to 16.75p not to be too precise! im going to hold as i have done through the peaks and dips. With every good statement it has a rise before and upon the news, then a cooling off period. Next expected announcement is september where i target 18-20p . ATB everyone, lets hope we could get sp spiking suprise before then! OP
Debt may be greater than the market cap. Pre Tax Profit for 2008 was £2.42m, but the company has stated "trading has been strong with half year sales in the region of £13.2m, an increase of 33% over the first half of last year. There has also been an improvement in average gross margin rates as a result of changes in the sales mix. Consequently, profit before tax for the 2009 half year is now expected to be not less than £2.7m". If I read this right, then the first 6 months pre tax profit of this year will be greated than the pre tax profit for the whole of last year. Looks as though management are doing something right. Then there is the possibility of a divi next year as well management have stated.
with the hype here.Debts is still greater than current market cap.DYOR.
Did you "take the profit and re-invest elsewhere" as you said you would on 30th June?
another good statement. September may be even better. We may see some moves backwards at times but i am holding for longer than september. pleased to see the 16p i had hoped to see on the back of todays news, next stop 18p. Would be nice to see some wider coverage on them ATB OP
Great prelims and a company making a decent profit during a very difficult trading period. What more could you ask for as an investor in this company? Well how about a decent hike in the sp?
drip down slowly until the next RNS. I bet.
25p
are moving in now.people can't just stay foot for more good news.
from 1st impressions it seems good. Though wasnt the dividend planned for this year? oh well im still happy. Roll on september!

rns coming soon surely.. 1.1% bought in that trade.
I am not familiar with the term "pumpers spike" however, I imagine it is intended to indicate a uplift in the share price based on hype. You may be correct in your view however, I would have thought that the excellent results for the first four months of 2009 published on 21st May and the announcement on 22nd May that Nigel Wray increased his holding in the company to 10.29% by the purchase of almost 17,000,000 shares were not unrelated to the uplift in the share price at the end of May. Further, I wish all of my shares would "dawdle about" like this one.
i personally intend to stay here for a fair while longer. http://ir.alliancepharma.co.uk/alliancepharma/shareholderinfo/fincalendar.jsp we should be due a trading update soon, hopefully a good one, and half yearlys are due september. I hope to see 16p after the update and 18p in september. may not sound like massive targets but i have a decent low entry price. Im interested to see how it develops over the next few months to decide if i am going to put these away for a few years. Im also quite interested to see if this dividend plan will come to fruition and what impact it will have on the sp. Whilst i conceed APH does have its spells of stagnation i think there are good times ahead. Whatever people decide, stay in or go elsewhere best of luck all! OP
I see the spike. What is a "pumpers spike"?
thats what I was thinking....
It was well pumped just before 21 May ( check the 3 month graph for the pumpers spike) ...so the way its dawdeling about now...good indicator to take the profit and re-invest elsewhere
I had a punt at these at the start of the year for about 5p. The maiden divi will be paid this year so defo holding on for that. Has anyone got any sp or targets or have a guess at what the divi will be?
for these? In here from 7p so nicely in profit but wondered if its time to bail or hold for 20p
APH is now getting notice for what it is worth in terms of revenue growth and future dividend payout.
companies are now back in favour.
topup for me. this is gearing towards strong growth in revenues and a defensive stock in a volatile market.
is very idle.needs pumping up IMO:-)
