The whole sting stinks of corruption, and there isn't a thing we can do about it.That's what we get for dealing on AIM.
It looks like it's the end and this farcical takeover is well and truly stuffed onto shareholders. No recovery, just a miserable 10p for about 7 or 8 years of heartache.
Get the backhanders ready for the Big Boys or are they all going anyway to the new enterprise?
Utter stuffing
It's usually good news when you get a takeover offer but not this time. This has to be the worse takeover offer i've ever seen. Why would APC even consider accepting such a pathetic offer. If i thought APC was worth only 10p i wouldn't even have them in my portfolio.I would have sold long ago.I can't help wondering what back handers are going on behind the scenes.I just hope someone else steps in with a proper offer.
I hope they have done their due dilligence. Hodgson is a master of smoke and mirrors!! I have been told that they have lost some of their large product lines since he has been at the helm.
Christopher Mills strikes again.
But what a terrible price, 10p a 9.5% premium.
Looks to be all stitched up, mgmt and major shareholders approvals. After all this time, they're giving away the company and have the gall to suggest we should be grateful - disgusting.
Gutted!!
No wonder they put sandwiches and curried meet balls on at the AGM!!
If there is a competing offer who is this likely to come from?
More cash in the bank and a decent profit.....but 10p is a steal. Particularly as today's RNS states:
"The APC Group continues to trade in line with the APC Directors' expectations".
Better hope for a competing offer to come in I suppose.
I think that you have hit the nail on the head. I believe that hitting the numbers will have a momentary positive effect and if by that time Brexit is favourably resolved it may even hold for a while. Obviously there is now another seller with possibly the same game plan in mind but the market for APC shares appears quite resilient. Best wishes and now back to sleep for another month or two.
Not unless i could immediately buy back at 8p or less with the proceeds ;-)
Like most other shares SP suffering from no deal Brexit fears and in this respect I sympathise with the Directors. Any publicity now other than profits exceeding expectations IMO will have little impact on SP.
I'm happy to hold
Best regards
You take 10p now Fred?
Good moaning!!
Vino good post. I write this a year ago - 'First time I post here since buy shares June last year. I pay 6.5p so should be happy but disappointed also for recent price fall. Why fall when improve profit? Fred asking shareholders if they take 10p. I say yes please. Reason is what Sahid saying. No broker follow stock and not no what to expect. How do people make to invest not know good prospects. Yes result read well but no body is commentary. Sorry, english not my first language.'
Well nothing much change excepting my English improve a little, I think. I sell half my shares last week and make very good profit. I am sorry to do this because I think company is good but like you I think broker not interested. I read on another boeard expected profit 1.6 million. If happens price should be double what is now but I do not think can happen. Hope I am wrong because still own sum shares.
Well, almost back to 7p as predicted.
The sugar daddy that was picking up the sells can no longer keep pace.
Not surprising with no Company or adviser marketing.
We don't even have a price estimate from the adviser - very poor.
Very interesting RNS in that we now have a new Nomad advising the company. Interesting that this has come at a time of upward momentum and an increase in interest from traders. Perhaps we can see a bit more media and news spread by Shore capital than Stockdale. Could this be a more positive piece of news than we think. Shore have the 3rd highest total of MM's on the AIM market.
Great RNS this morning.
Looks like another good value, complementary and earnings-enhancing acquisition - £1m cost gets £0.2m EBITDA, £2.2m revenues plus all the usual synergies, cross-selling benefits etc.

Look desperate for stock!!
Well I was with Vino on the 7p but what do I know.
Er you were saying Vino?
At this rate we will be back to 7p in 3 days.
How come a trade on 21/5/19 at 12.16 is reported after a trade on 22/5/19 at 15.54?
Suspicious in retrospect!
Volume not particularly encouraging. Already pulled back half the gains.
At last!
Good results next week hopefully
