$500m for the Capex for the mine. I believe the NRR deal was done and other future deals so we can just knock back low ball offers for the mine as we will not need cash for survival. We will be in a good financial position, and with hopeful backing of Glencore in a firm off take done we should be in a strong bargaining position for selling on. If no decent offer then yes we proceed with the development ourselves and raise the finance on debt from assets as they are developed over the years to come. Win win for shareholders either way we go. All IMO of course board police!
Hi Sparticus. By a low ball offer i mean an offer circa 50% discount on NPV would give a price of 40p. How many here would accept that? The NRR deal should work out to be good but not good enough on its own to raise the approx £1billion CAPEX. I am of the opinion that AMC will not be taking K.M. into production. Come on Adam put a deal together and sell this asset and move on. ATB Speedy
the maine way you get lowballed is your short on money, where do you see that speedie ?
NRR still presents some risks. They need to complete many objectives to reach their phase 2, always going to be risk with a job of that scale.
Australian / Chinese relations are also a risk factor here, the two are currently in the middle of a trade spat, with both sides having placed sanctions on one another - these tariffs have been targeted at non-critical industries so far I believe. This is certainly another risk.
Just some thoughts. Positive about AMC in general, happy to hold.
This is my thinking. If anything getting into NRR is a plan B in case something goes wrong with Kun Manie. And it is nice for LTH to have this "safety net" in case the Russian government do something unexpected. That is my number one concern, and there won't be much longer to find out. Personally I think sell Kun Manie next year after administrative requirements have been met and then look for additional investment opportunities in Australia that diversify risk across multiple commodities. Just my opinion, and there are different paths AMC can take here.
Hi Sparticus. Not rubbish just my opinion. AMC are explorers not miners. Find it, sell it, go on to the next one. A.H. is a deal maker. I say sell this large find and do more deals, simple. ATB Speedy
history doesnt tell you squat if like me you upgraded your acount a fresh, or changed your name like TDT
Apologies on spelling my phone makes me type like a fud
A lot of nonsense posts on here but you only need to look back on message history to see who is long term and who is not. I have a sizeable holding now after accumulating and a short hiatus period where i didn't post much dye to comitments. My goal was always to sell on the way up and keep some perhaps 100k or 200k for the end game so it is fully derisked and have my initial invetment back with huge interest. For me the NRR deal and upcoming news flow will derisk this share to the point it can't be held down at this level but all we can do is wait and see. After years invested it would be delightful to get something back, personally i have no doubt it will come its just when and if the BOD make good decisions and build confidence after the landstead and crede deals. Then again it coyld be argued we needed it to get where we are and hopefully a thing of the past. AH has definitely improved my outlook and the general timeframe could surprise a few if we have further NRR type deals.
F1ddy, All - I also am still accumulating... I see the risk profile as greatly reduced from when I started here some 4 years back.
I've been meaning to start a thread about the current risk profile... Trying to identify, quantify and assess the probably of risks... But still doing my 9-5 (rather 7-9)... so will leave that for someone else if anyone has the time of inclination.

just rubbish, think your on the wind up imop
No don't as i bought twice today after freeing up a little more cash and they were reported as sells.
Hi All. Sasas view is that NPV should be circa 80p, so why would the MMs be holding the SP down by a few 10ths of a penny. I do not think there is a buyer in the background. I am of the opinion that the SP is where it is because the banks will not touch this with a barge pole. The best we can expect is to accept a low ball offer from Russian based co with links to Mr P. ATB Speedy
Hi Mad:) I have dejavu...every sp attempt to rise is being sold off...as previously thought - sp being held back intentionally...
Vol. Sold 12,330,521
Vol. Bought 2,264,281
Does any one believe these LSE reported numbers?
If it true the SP has held up pretty well....
Would the MMs close the day with 10,000,000 share still on their books... ? Are the figures wrong or do they already have a buyer...
