Please can we NOT have a list OR say the number of shares we hold and what way we vote.
We don't what to let the other side know how many votes they need to vote a yes or a no to go through.
If a 'no' vote went through then the sp would fall further and RY and co would have to go back to the negotiating table and either come up with something much improved or they just go back to what they were doing before ie nothing. Far too much time and effort for them and potential buyers to go through everything again and come back with a slightly better offer as that would most likely be voted down too.
Only have 850k shares but will vote no. Would be happy with an exit price of 4p too. Fell sorry for those with higher averages.
So if a ‘no’ vote went through what would be the next stage here? Who would buy a Russian resource now apart from a Russian?
Would be interested to hear what he has to say.....
you have similar numbers to myself Astar - and it's a NO from me
Many thanks all for your responses. I have over 3,3m shares at an average of around 5p and will vote it down.
all things considered, this first offer should be voted down, i own 0.22% and i will vote against the offer, the sale proceed price is too low and the terms of payment are really bad...if the project is now held as for sale, surely better offers will follow, where are the Chinese with an improved offer? vote no to the sale at that price and payment terms..
I know that everyone has their own exit point for investments. This deal does not meet mine.
I would rather take a low cash deal up front that this. I’ve modified my exit point and would now accept 4p. Far below my original exit point.
This is just the first offer. Also believe there may be another bidder appear.
I also cannot fathom it.
"It is anticipated that portions of the second and third payments (totaling US$60 million) will be paid as dividends to the shareholders."
"Anticipated" means there's absolutely no guarantee of shareholders receiving a penny.
"Portions" means that even if we do get some payout, it could be half of this, or a quarter.
This is the worst deal for shareholders that I have seen in years. I genuinely can't see why you would vote for this, unless you have connections to the board who are going to drag their salary out for 10/15 years.
…….seems like a gravy train deal to keep the bod doing just as little going forward to me.
How can we vote for this without seeing the TEO?
Yes indeed Sir!
And let RY know via emails that this is unacceptable!
Yes
For once I agree with Kammy. I’d rather hold, vote the deal down and prevent RY and pals from walking off with millions in their pockets having scammed ordinary share holders. We need to force an improved offer at the very, very least!
Does this mean a EGM will be held on 25 May? A really confusing rns.....
Sorry, couldn't resist...
SuperWoofer...says let them close the gap at 1.6 then see where go from here. Utter nonsense, as of today, the sp has nothing to with gaps, its utter rubbish, the sp is where it is...based on sale value, period!
I've head Geng master over the years going on about the gap, and now faced with sale value written in black and white, SuperWoofer is going on about the gap. What don't people get, based on sale value the SP is approx 6p? ish, spread over 10 years, risk factors and etc, now wonder it hit 3.4p this morning and now languishing below 2p. This is a scam on a massive scale, the sp got close to 4p back in Jan, and now with confirmation its below 2p, it does not make sense what so ever.
Hush hush, back handers, lining their own pockets, I said it last week I rather the company goe t.its up as opposed to giving the lying BOD a penny of mine, and I got shot down.
Feel cheated and angry on behalf of the genuine investors here
Kammy
Disgruntled holders selling down because they had their eyes set on insurmountable sums to be paid yesterday despite the reality of the deposits location.. background buyers soaking up the voting rights to capitalise at the end of the month.
depth of buyers in background.
It stinks and gives no return.
So better to gamble by refusing to vote it through and see what happens?
I cannot fathom why anyone would vote to lose money.
WTF have you done? another time waster.
Would you expect the company to return the entire sun and wind the company up afterwards? Surely not that naive.
At least.
Whatever happens, he was never going to return all proceeds to shareholders, absolute charlatan.
Sorry to the holders who are desperate enough to sell sub 2p. Watch this rise once MM's have collected enough stock and I can see the sellers re-buying again at 2.50 and 3p.
Best to sit on your hands in such a situation IMO.
DYOR
I'd say it is being confiscated.
Where's the TEO?
Anyone else think it more than a coincidence that this is announced on Victory Day?
All that military hardware paraded thru Red Square with Putin looking on.
