Hi MonkeyPrice,
Worth watching this presentation if you haven't already done so. It's a very good overview, and questions towards the end specifically address the La Mancha loan.
https://youtu.be/7yB3pj2D8X0
Feel it should double in few years time. just my opinion.
Could you explain bit more about the repayment as couldn't find the infor. same as you fan of royalty. think it is much safer investment and also it seems a lot going on with ALS.
Thanks
Yes, I like it a lot and have held in the past. I'm a particular fan of the royalty model.
Hesitant to get back in here solely based on the loan repayment terms - with the recent La Mancha loan having a 6 month term to be repaid in February.
Very much on watch with a view to a long term position here.
why nobody interested in this company? it looks decent investment for me.
Looks like a pump and dump after the MW article.
I bought 20,447 shares and they are shown as a sale in red. Something seriously wrong here.
One mention in MoneyWeek and the SP rockets! Job done. Supposedly "Britain's Best-Selling Financial Magazine" yet very few of its readers followed its recommendation. But that was enough to send the SP higher. Then what? Declare a decent dividend which would send the SP higher or accept a takeover offer while it's still cheap?
"also" should be ALS. I hate auto correct!
There is an article in MoneyWeek giving a qualified case for investing in gold. also is described as "extraordinary value at this price". At the time of writing ALS was at 60p. Is this what caused the recent rise in price?
Buys to sells 11-1 and only up 0.85%? With so few shares available, something has to give: £1 by Xmas?
Very undervalued and I'm expecting sharp rises in tiny gold miners over the next 12 months as interest rates rise far beyond what everyone's expecting! And far beyond what the Authorities have in mind. Cue a Housing Crash or just keep printing money while food prices double every few weeks? Something will definitely hit the fan, sooner or later.
La Mancha Holdings, owned by Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris, has unveiled a $1.4 billion fund to hold the magnate’s gold mining investments and pursue new opportunities in the sector.
It noted that the first closing had already been completed with the receipt of all of La Mancha’s gold mining assets, which include a 19.1% stake in Endeavour Mining (TSX, LON: EDV), 33.4% in Golden Star (NYSE, TSX: GSS), and a 35.1% interest in Altus Strategies (AIM: ALS) (TSX-V: ALTS).

The 4,999 "sell" is actually my buy. I'm very surprised there's not more interest in this company. Only 80m shares in issue with 53.55% N.I.P.H. Expect fireworks if the herd ever arrive.
Good summary, Sharegar.
I also invested for first time recently.
I have spoken to management at Mining 121.
I was watching this Altus for a while.
Thought it was too good to refuse at just over 60p last week. Below the placement price!
I like the geographical diversity.
Plenty of land to explore and then form partnerships at the right time.
They have their own pet project that could potentially cover the current SP on its own.
What really made my decision easy was the acquisition of Moroccan land along the Atlas trend.
On the TSX I have been invested in Aya Gold and Silver. That company is worth studying to show what potential the Atlas trend in Morocco has.
If you look you will see what I mean.
I conclude that Altus has a great business plan and should create value progressively and because there is so much blue sky potential over many large land packages, with a bit of luck we could hit the Jackpot and Multi bag at any given time.
That is the sort of bet I like, one with solid foundations.
GLA Sharegar.

most gold miners down today as far as i can tell
There's often little in the way of reason why an individual share price falls: today the whole market is falling, it may be that coupled with people selling ALS on a stop-loss basis. Lemmings come to mind. Those folks who bought at 85p+ must be feeling a bit sick right now. I bought at an average of 33p, so still happy with my paper gain and not upset at crystalising a profit when I could have sold at 85p. As @Scoobydoo321 points out, deep pockets are generaly good at due diligence.
why the sp keep dropping?
Under the placement price of 75p - must be a bargain!
A quality outfit like La Mancha must have done their DD before buying 35%+ of ALS as well as buying a further tranche at 75p.
ALS have some high very high quality assets.
Thanks for response fallenknife, sorry I haven’t looked at this Stock for a few weeks so I hadn’t realised you’d responded, now that I look at the max ie time/price graph I’ve realised it only goes back to 2017 so I’m not sure what all of the data was before that time anyway like you said it was 14 years ago and probably best not worried about although I was just curious.
