Worth nothing. Binned.
Altus Strategies Plc (AIM: ALS & TSX-V: ALTS), the Africa focused exploration project generator, announces the discovery of further zinc, cobalt and copper prospects at its 100% owned 71.8 km2 Takzim project ("Takzim" or the "Project") located in central Morocco.
Highlights:
· Surface samples include 4.64% Zn, 7.78% Cu & 0.15% Co
· Copper bearing quartz-carbonate veins mapped discontinuously for 1.2km
· Coherent 600m long zinc and lead anomaly from soil sampling programme
· Further artisanal workings discovered across the Project
Steven Poulton, Chief Executive of Altus, commented:
"Exploration at our Takzim project, including the recently granted Takzim Est licences, has returned encouraging copper, cobalt and zinc results. These include 7.78% Cu, 1.96% Cu and 1.36% Cu from outcrop and grab samples across a series of veins, which have been mapped discontinuously for over 1.2km in strike length. Rock chip sampling of narrow hematite-rich lenses within these veins has returned highly anomalous cobalt, with grades of 0.15% Co, 0.14% Co, 0.14% Co.
Elsewhere at Takzim, outcrop and grab sampling from quartz-carbonate veins has returned encouraging zinc grades, including 4.64% Zn, 2.22% Zn and 1.39% Zn. Notably a number of these veins lie within a 600m long northeast trending zinc and lead soil anomaly, as defined by an orientation soil sampling programme completed by the Company.
Although at an early stage, we are encouraged by these further discoveries at Takzim. The next phase of exploration is currently being planned and will focus on establishing the potential source and scale of the copper, cobalt and zinc mineralisation discovered to date."
Nice RNS... nice discovery... imo
Meaningful amounts, good to see. I wonder what's going on here...
I think so Troajan, good to see you here btw.
Canyon deal looked pretty good, director buys look meaningful also. I'm in with a small posn
bottomed out?
I am new to the stock what is the next pieces of newsflow we are waiting for?
Is it me or will this firm not need to do a placing? Why is this share not rocketing? What have I missed?
I guess it's only a letter of Intent but the deal could be worth plenty!
Very much under the radar with low volumes and 11m mcap. With of lots of promising results over several projects, I can see this receiving more attention in the future followed by a rise, certainly worth a stake.
Nice RNSs of late - copper a couple of days ago now multiple gold... very nice UTR share...
...is all very well - a bit like picking-up cr@p on ebay? I want to believe in the story here but need some convincing
Although Legend has a lot of square km, it appears to have found only low grade resources wherever it has drilled. It is a dog. The only sensible rationale for this acquisition has to be for TSX-V dual listing and access to Canadian finance. Was it worth the outlay? Right now I need convincing.
Certainly early days in exploration/development but remember that these assets are potentially large, diverse and here we see more evidence of very good grades. IMHO Altus has the potential to become very large and that's why it enjoys a 9m mkt cap at this early stage. I say 'enjoy' quite deliberately because raising maybe 2m in equity funding for the next year of drilling at 9m is much less painful than at 1-2m. I have a small holding here, certainly wouldn't recommend diving in head first but a future multi-bagger quite likely.
'Alfie'! Stupid spell checker! I meant 'Altus' of course.
Decent results. I confess that I haven't come across Alfie before so was expecting a market capitalisation in the region of 1-2m so was somewhat surprised to find 9-10m! Given the stage of development of the assets (i.e. very early pre-drill) and the fact that they only raised 1.1m, it is difficult to justify such a high rating despite the obvious credentials of the people involved. However, if they keep getting these type of results then the property could well be attractive to a partner. They would have to give a substantial amount away though if they want somebody else to pay for all the drilling and feasibility work.
Oh rapture, Gold! The RNS factory has finally started production in earnest. Given the background of these people there's no better place to start than in Cameroon. Multiple ramps prospects too. Wow indeed.
This AIM company looks another joke to me. A market capital of some 10 Millions for a company in debit, with no tangible assets. Invest at your peril.....
Pretty decent prospects these guys may have here - any thoughts?
Alstom gets $190m to supply parts for a hydroelectic power project in Vietnam. This is what I'm looking for from this stock - more emerging market infrastructure contracts.
A report by Mckinsey sheds doubt on whether there will actually be major cost benefit synergies with a merger between Alstom and Areva. This has prompted some to take profits today. It's been a great ride - 20% in a few weeks so who can blame them. I'm thinking of following suit.
State sponsored merger with Areva is likely to be benefit Alstom shareholders. ALS has recently secured orders for Chinese nuclear power station turbines: "Alstom has won a 135 million Euro order from Chinese industrial group Dong Fang to supply 4 x 1000 MW-Class steam turbine-generator packages for the conventional island of a new nuclear power plant to be built at Hong Yan He, in Liaoning province, northern China." (I have these in my ISA - in my opinion a good way into emerging economy infrastructure esp power production)
Did anyone take any notice of me on this one. Things still happening regarding tie ups and orders. good for £120
A little tip for you ,this one will be £60.00 very shortly. Oh and yes i work there,
