242p to sell at 8-05pm
Since Aldermore and Shawbrook came to the market they have followed a very similar path. The current bid for Shawbrook will certainly fuel speculation that it will only be a matter of time before Aldermore is also subject to an bid from one of the big banks.
Exactly!!! And with the first Bid for Shawbrook coming in at 330p, it is reasonable to expect that there will be further higher bids. And if Shawbrook and similar challenger banks are now on the menu. I wonder who the next one might be???
The late rise on the SP is coincide to the late Speculation on a bid for Shawbrook
I anticipate that ALD could be in demand next week.
Every thing looks good about ALD , If the numbers on the results in March are above last year, then it could be up for the SP.
I can sniff some action on the coming results in March
Results due in March, last few have been very good, perhaps a dividend is looming?
some big trades after close. Should be interesting in the morning
Bought on doom day but had to pay 147p for a small gamble. Tempting to sell towards the CGT- free limit because if I don't, you can bet your boots others will as the tax year ticks to its end! So it follows there might be the opp to buy back at a lower price. Don't normally trade like this but seems sensible.
I like to hear of Pis making profits ~ The results were very good, possible the sp may slip back a little depending on Mkt sentiment ~ the sp fell from 280p to 102p so there may be some leg left for the sp to climb nearer the next trading information RNS in the meantime a close watch on the sp it may of course just continue to climb !
Agree with you about this being a good trading share just sold today at £2.03 for a tidy profit and will look to buy in again should it drop to 160-170 range. GLA
Went in at 155p and came out at 183.4 a short term profit of circa 29p ps.If the sp falls back towards the upper 160's then I shall be back in~ Consider this a trading share with circa a 1000 trades so far today. I deal in and out of SHAW in the same fashion. Both have a small number of shares in issue although sufficient to have good liquidity Bear in mind Credit Suisse recently down graded both stocks~Aldermore and Showbrook are exposed to non-property SME lending - around 24% and 28% of first-half group loans respectively - "which we expect to be more sensitive to a deterioration in the macro economic environment"
I think sp is just responding to the ftsie and traders stepping in and out ~ I had a brief look at the numbers and at a guess easily a 1000 trades plus perhaps up to 3000 trades for yesterday in broad terms` traders do not usually get involved unless there is perceived value. From brief direct research the company ensures its product offering is up to date and delivered with alacrity
Any one out there know the reasons for the massive daily swings. Should be of large enough market cap to not be manipulated.
Great day here and that 178 resistance is broken and here's looking forward to that £2.00 + sp . GLA
We should get there if the clear resistance at about 178 is broken
At the end of the day? Was hoping for a push to 1.80 soon
Some really big buys gone through today 12, 84 and 117 guess at least they wernt sells GLA
Bought in at 155p on the basis of available information and the number of shares in issue,a reasonable number of 345 million so expecting the sp to eventually rise towards pre brexit prices.
Nice pm run up past the 170p mark be nice if it could go on from here now. GLA
Price at 08:22 164.8 How can you trade out of hours ?
day traders or spreadbetters making money while we sit watch and make nothing !
Or maybe not ?
As the hysteria around bank stocks seems to be subsiding hoping for a sensible move back towards pre brexit prices over the next few days.
