The price dropped to 40, so any PI had the chance to invest at close to the placing price. Admittedly, that wouldn't allow for the warrants but if the price goes to the exercise prices of 0.75 or 1.5, I won't be complaining.
B. S... I get your point, but offering loyal shareholders, and lth, would have been nice.
@Gilen01 It’s probably more about giving value for money to those investors that have subscribed to the placing. Alba are more likely to get people investing if they can offer a very quick profit short term. I’d invest a lot of money if I was offered that, wouldn’t you? ATB
Suss... I agree, it is one thing to keep pumping out Rns's, but what is the motivation behind them? The bod, have lost some credability, and confidence this morning, in my eyes. Not their finest hour. Imo
7 million shares sold within 12 minutes of the perceived excellent RNS yesterday, almost as though the sellers knew this was the correct option. I like many topped up, at a time when this selling was being filled, behind the scenes. To say I am annoyed is an understatement, with todays money raising effort. Why did they not try a shareholder rights issue at 0.37p? At least then shareholders would have the ability to raise their value in the company.
??? Surely, if they know the Assay results are imminent, or have a fair idea what they saw in test pans, why raise cash now? Would the same amount of shares not got the company a lot more, in a couple of weeks? Something odd in the timing! Imo
I'd be surprised if this didn't hit a lot of stop losses when it hit 0.39 and 0.40, could have really hit some people....
Newsflow has been excellent from ALBA the past couple of weeks. Now they have a placing away i do hope they continue keeping shareholders in the picture. Or was all that news just to get the placing away? I thought they had plenty of money?
Can't help feeling just a little disappointed with todays RNS. Nothing has changed of course asset wise, but I never saw this coming.
buying in ....
Yes sold a few other stocks yesterday to increase my shares here. Really bad timing, especially as the other 2 shares are rocketing so far.
They've raised £1.2m, so it's a relatively modest amount. Suggests they are keen not to weigh down the share price.
So nearly bought more yesterday but felt like I was top heavy. Still a grand wiped off my holding.
Well news should be out in 2-3 weeks so no sense to jump out yet! hence the SP is being held very well. typically we would have crashed straight to placing price. Hold for gold is what ill say GLA
Disgusting...trade patterns and 2 false rises for the rampers to get out and rebut cheaper....In cahoots with ZM? Looks like an annual trend. Better come good or pis will Liam neeson their azz.
The elephant is now out of the room, fully cashed up, news incoming on multiple fronts, onwards and upwards I say!
It would be awfully rude not to.
no wonder someone sold yesterday. but i've just added more .
I didn't think there would be another top up opportunity like this before results.
I'm going to make the most of it!
Volume traded relatively low so if PIS dont get scared and wait for these results we should be fine and stay above .4 which will be very strong signal for a rise up
"In the near term, we expect to be in a position to release the structural interpretation of our underground drilling programme at Clogau-St David's this side of Christmas, together with preliminary structural interpretation from the current surface drilling programme which we also expect to have concluded before Christmas."
Share warrants will also be issued to each subscriber in the Placing, with one warrant to be issued for every two shares subscribed for, for a total of 160,000,000 warrants. The warrants will have an exercise price of 0.75 pence per share and an expiration date of 24 months from the date of issue. The warrants will also be subject to an accelerator provision, such that if at any time during the 24 month duration of the warrants the 10-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of Alba ordinary shares exceeds 1.5 pence per share, the Company may give warrant holders notice to exercise their warrants within 10 business days following the Company's notice and to pay the exercise price in full within 15 business days following the Company's notice, failing which the warrants will automatically expire.
Never saw that coming, i thought we had over £2m? Not happy...

Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA) is pleased to announce that it has raised GBP1,200,000 (before expenses) through the issue of 320,000,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 0.375 pence per ordinary share ...
