No. you won't. there'll be nothing. Byebye.
I gotta go, this is becoming tooooooo surreal now. I have a headache. LOL.
OMG ! Now they're asking their questions to the clown in chief !!!!! LMFAO !!!!!
I wonder if we see our market cap at least...
Granto Will the administrators try to sell some assets to pay some debt so a slimmer Afren can go further as a going concern? And will the current shareholders still be the owners of the new Afren? Is all of this a possibility?!
By the way granto, who were the 'experts with inside knowledge' you mentioned earlier ?
They never called the egm. We do not have the results to say a no vote won. And before knowing the company has gone into admin. Hopefully if there is any chance of reversing admin a new vote will be called I connection with BH saving the company.
Because the DEBT of Afren would have been too onerous for seplat, we did this one already, lol. about 3 months ago. Come on, you can't really be as stupid as you're pretending here.
Why didn't they just merge with seplat.....Or gave them more time to make a decent offer...
So kind and sincere of you.
Oh, but they do believe, kalimera. They believe in the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, father christmas, and asog, lol.
I am finding it very hard to come to terms considering the facts that 1) we had an offer from SEPLAT & 2) The Company never asked shareholders to put in more money. We could have raised enough to pay bond holders for next 1 or 2 years. This is what most of AIM businesses do who are not profitable. Also does anyone also think Afren have stayed true to their pathetic nature...The RNS is tiled as Corporate Update seriously terrible people...all we can do now is curse the previous BOD, and rely on divine justice. I genuine wish them worst in their lives.
their duty is try and save the company as a going concern - if that fails they liquidate it by selling the assets . Or they can sell the company minus all debt ( bar secured assets debt).
I don't have any interest in your charity work - I want to know which charity you founded, so I may make a donation. Why are you so shy about telling us about the charity you say you founded ? How does it survive if you refuse to accept donations ? Maybe you should contact all those other charities that do rely on publicity and donations, let them know where they're going wrong, lol.
http://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2015/02/11/why-it-could-be-game-over-for-afren-plc/ Why do you not believe????????????????
If there will be a thinner Afren after the administration, who will be the owner of it?! Isnt it that the admistrators have to sell every asset on auction?!
The $14 gross cost of producing oil is highlighted in Afren's Annual Report , in BIG and BOLD writing . The net cost is around $50. We explained this you TWO times already and others here showed you The annual report and presentations . . Did you ever read the reports ? No you didn't , you a troll. .. As my charity work, simply none of your business , pretty sad that you think people don't give up their time to do charity work . Guess you never could understand -says it all
thanks for your info. restructuring, I really hope for. do you think they are bluffing? with Afren, anything is possible as far as dodging is concerned.
LMAO, you have been wrong on absolutely EVERYTHING for 6 months now, and this latest conclusion maintains that 100 percent record. From the day you proclaimed you 14 dollar oil calculation, to your fantasy charity, to your latest posts today, man are you out there, lol. I think you need mental help granto, but I really don't care if you get it or not.
you pretend you are interested in other shares - that's not true you only post here on Afren , even then you rarely had anything constructive to say to support you 'short' . The experts with inside knowledge all thought it would survive - the clowns were the shorters . The BH were convinced and added $200m to the pot . In the end - you got lucky . Very lucky seeing as this is your only share (clown ) , and PoO collapsed . Imagine having all your eggs in one basket ? That's crazy . BTW , your money in your short is frozen while this is suspended - who knows how long this could last , it could run for years! Gulp ! No Christmas turkey in the George house. I don't like calling anyone a clown but that's what you are - let's face it your a bitter loser who got lucky here, and that really is it .
For you, I'm genuinely sorry afren went under (there are probably thousands out there I would have empathy and some sympathy for, but very, very, very few on this board deserve anything other than they got. Bearing in mind I've always said anyone who tips a share is a liar, and anyone who listens is a fool, I was wondering if you're invested in more established companies, that may pay a decent dividend ? I think you've mentioned fitb recently, and were looking at others, but given your interest in the recent events in afren, and your eagerness to understand the businesses you're investing in, I'm sure there's a number of ftse 100 multinationals that would give you hours of reading pleasure, lol, even if they're not going to set the world on fire with anything new and disruptive in their near-term pipeline. there's nothing wrong with big and boring in my book, spiced up with a newcomer or two, or an up-and-comer (good luck finding the jewels there, but they do exist). you've got time on your side too for dividend reinvestment. Yeah, not very exciting, I admit, lol. But sometimes interesting, for a boring old(ish) fart. Like me.
Have a great holiday, andy.p. I think I'll go back to just reading the boards again, mostly there's nothing to add to any of them, they all have their zealots, almost all of them have the rabidly pro- and rabidly anti- points of view that tend to balance, or cancel each other out. Occasionally there's something worth reading - this board though, this company, these idiots, they really are a one off (thank god, lol). If this were anything other than an anonymous chat forum, I think it would have been taken down for the rubbish that;s been posted here. And STILL it goes on, lol. I cannot believe there are people who are still clinging to the belief their shares may be worth something, at some time, lol. Idiots ! (except granto, I can believe anything of that clown, lol). I've enjoyed our 'alliance' though, together with Isengard, at least there's been something worth reading here, some semblance of normality in Wonderland, lol. I guess they'll be calling me Alice now, lol. Can't remember who it was, but I think at least one of the clowns claimed to be in the oil industry. I don't honestly think sitting in the all-night booth at the Morrisons Petrol Station really counts as being in the oil industry though. Anyway, going to do a message to Isengard, so all the very best andy.p. (I'll still be reading until the board closes, just can't quit cold turkey, lol).
Soon changed is tune once he knew the outcome of the vote they have had at least 15 days to muster over what is the best outcome for ad hoc chappies. Read the interim statement from 29th of may its taken production was ok then 5 new wells one mega one. 8 weeks later admin. Everyone voted on plan a or plan b, plan b was the no vote have we been deceived because plan b was really administration.... something seriously stinks alavarez and marshal turnaround specialists yeah right i wouldn't pay me £1.5 mill aweek its a no wonder we've gone into admin. Should of took a leaf out of lehmann brothers book and steered fck in well clear....
But lose everything. Ad hoc m8s rates can come in at the last minute and steal the lot.
Before restructuring. Its like you invest another $300 mill and we'll put it into admin it was all part of the plan....oh i forgot you can short it as well because they know the outcome... westhouse securities 2p mths before it got to 2p remember. ...
