I have been ( and remain ) a long term supporter of the management’s strategy.
But i have to say that, with a couple of rare exceptions, it’s communications have been awful - whether that’s addressing things like pollution or RMDE on the downside or giving clarity and confidence on the new plant on what should be the upside. It’s a real shame as it has introduced uncertainty and volatility. When you think the capital raise and conversion was done so recently at 1p and here we are today.
I do not believe in over-communication or over-selling. But if the facts today are the same / improved as the facts at the capital raising, this current share price can only be a serious failure of communication.
We are all well aware that AEG and deadlines don't mix too well....
But we will probably see them levels when RNS comes through saying production has started for the Utah batch.
Maybe higher if the burn is successful and all...
If we can hit these deadlines. Promising times ahead.
Support is gone and updates quiet. Standard AEG for the LTH. Thought we would be testing 1.3/1.4 but even that is too much to ask for here.
Article on the robesonian: 'Rowan said. “We are on track to produce 900 tons of CoalSwitch for a demonstration with a coal fired power plant in Utah later this spring.”' https://www.robesonian.com/news/144567/aeg-almost-ready-to-put-lumberton-biomass-facility-into-operation
This was from April 9th and again... Could have changed by then. I guess no way to know until the day comes..
Yes Bagga, that was it.
I was chartitable when I said the accusation in the "letter" suggested Rowan to have been mistaken. In fact they said his comment was pretence. Of course this would explain why the Webinar was removed - especially so if he did say something that turned out not to be true.
The SP Angel pdf confirms my thought. It says production by Q2 (2021). I was confident of this wording earlier because I no longer just watch these Webinar/promotion efforts from directors. I treat them like a meeting and make notes... as I thought - Rowan was keen to say, and not diverge from saying, the word 'production'.
It is 'production' that is scheduled for Q2. I suppose, literally, that might mean one piece of CoalSwitch produced June 30th would mean the estimate has been met.
I am sure we hope for more, but without complete openness from the CEO, we are still in the dark.

"Mr. Rowan’s behaviour and statements since July 2018 when he became CEO of AEG. His constant
attempts, including live last night on the LSE webcast, to pretend that he arrived on the board only in 2018, he was
a member of the board of AEG for significantly longer than that"
I'd assume this is the only reason for the webinar being pulled. But obviously we can't be sure. As for the deadline I recall something being said about the plant being done this month was said after the webinar? And that Q2 was for the delivery. Can't remember!
That's right. Rowan was reticent in his answer to that one even though the questioner persisted.
I remember that he said 'production' was scheduled for Q2. The questioner persisted and even said that Q2 is a long time and goes on until June 30th.
Rowan was stoic and repeated the Q2 line. No problem, he was trained as a lawyer and was repeating the line about Q2. Not difficult to read what he meant.
What I can't understand is why the video for the April Webinar has been pulled. The February Webinar video is still up on Youtube to make things even more confusing.
It must have been pulled for a reason.
I remember that the "letter" made mention of something Rowan had said regarding when he started as a director. The "letter" reckoned Rowan had'been 'mistaken' in his statement as to when he became a board remember.
Maybe it was pulled because we are not progressing with the reactor and the Q2 production estimate is less likely than it was at the time of the Webinar.
I wonder where i got May from then, can't find it, probably mistaken, i always thought that was a bit too close to the delivery date.
Yeah trawling through the info I have. Plant is still due for end of this month and coalswitch order for June?? Please correct me if I'm wrong
I think Rendj is right and I think still on track for this month.
Pretty sure he said this month (April) for finishing the build and Q2 for delivering the test burn order.
I thought Rowan wriggled and would only commit to q2 for completion.
Think they said end of may hku821
Thanks mate, we keepnour fingers crossed for some good SP movement in near future
No date but we ideally want a full month to test/produce so hopefully before end of April. Aeg seem positive on Twitter updates but let’s see.
Sorry if it has been said before or if I've missed it.
But is there an exact date for the plant to be completed? Alls I know of is by the end of this month.
Thanks,
