Can’t understand
Zaf also holds a significant amount of IBS, no wonder LEG got involved in the bullshit valuation of £10M for IBS. But as they say in the investing business its that one home run you are looking at.....The BoDs has invested in so many bullshits that the stake in VirtualStock can be their saving grace or should I say save their a*s in this business of finding ASSymmetric opportunities with potential for high return....

Zaf and his partner Thomas have almost 5% of VS whereas Our holding is mere 7%. We are paying them to feather their own nests.
LEG suffered its share price from 0.3p to 0.085p (loss of 72%) at the time of name changed to 8PG. By doing that they got rid of those small investors (almost a white collar robbery). They lured a lot of those victims with his IBS too.
Soon they will be dilute 8PG to feed their greed.
I got in at 0.17p early last year and hope to get out once the VS is floated in the NASDAQ..
Sorry! I have no faith on either of them but i am in it till then.
They knew no one will invest in their any new right issues so only way to raise more funds invest is dilute..
GLA.
Agree bullet dodged by late rns. As far as I can see IBS is worth close to zero. Name change has not hidden the facts of zaf asymmetric journey of burning investors cash into pipe dreams. The decline in sp was legendary. He now talks about reaching the next peak, let's hope he doesn't need more cash to stand on. On a positive note vs is a real winner and hopefully will eventually be realised.
Sam, I agree. I did found it intriguing at the time as to how IBS was worth £10m when they didn't even had a MVP or a website. Anyone can easily a form a building society in New Zealand and mention that so and so company has invested at this and this valuation. But the question is what the criteria was for valuation......
Anyway I am here more for the VS stake then IBS and other bullshits in 8PG's portfolio.... Let's see....
Hi Sam-the-man, keep the good work up.
I don’t think the market moved with that IBS news before. Your earlier vedio post where Vs owner didn’t mentioned the LEG investment during their struggle start up time. This tell me something not right between ZAF and them.
8 peak has little dire startup but that luck to me always when I start bad.
Anyway have a good Oct and nov festive. Off to celebrate live away from this 8 peak and our dear Zaf. Hope to see this flourish when back mid nov.
The value is in VS stake, everything else is a bonus or noise.
I was expecting a huge drop 1st thing but its a quiet start. Ssssshhhh!!!
So much for changing the name because the old one was associated with bad vibes. This is hardly a good vibe. I invested long before IBS was mentioned so I wasnt biulding my hope on it but I did wonder how on earth Zaf could put a value on it when it hadnt made one single deal.
I've always looked at LEG/8PG as a sort of Dragon's Den and if an entrepreneur had said IBS was worth £10m the Dragon's would have thrown them down the lift.
No wonder the RNS was eased out after the market had closed.
The SP could tank tomorrow for 8PG has clearly admitted that it has misled investors(bigtime).
Maybe just maybe
Todays 30/34p spread has finally been acheived and now reflects the final closing price of LEG.
So at least we are back were we started.
Another few days, of buying like today, and we could actually start to make progress.
With a nice virtual stock update, they seem to be stepping up operations.
Time to buy?
Make a note of this link it will be available to view next week.
Hopefully it contains enough to help lift the share price.

As a SAAS company, Virtualstock has a highly scalable business model.
8PG have a outlier investment in form of Virtualstock stake. The key is to wait till the valuation of Virtualstock reaches unicorn status. Once Virtualstock reaches unicorn status, 8pg would be 10x-15x.
Seems to me that VS are trying to make their software the de facto standard ala Amazon Web Services for Cloud. If so, then we may be in for a wait before the profits truly flow.
No wonder Bradley states that,
"We run the business at the break-even mark, adds Bradley. We’re reinvesting everything that we earn."
With such a huge(and growing)staffing level, those revenues will be fully utilised.
What exactly are all these bodies doing for I thought VS was a software orientated outfit.
Why would they be targeting "smaller retailers" rather than the behemoths of the trade.
Not convinced.
Just a few clips from the link I posted yesterday.
Bradley and Ingham’s software business turned over £4.5 million last year and revenues are expected to almost double this year.
We run the business at the break-even mark, adds Bradley. We’re reinvesting everything that we earn.
VS now has 105 staff and plans to expand more aggressively overseas and sell their tech to smaller retailers.
Just a pity that 8PK wasnt mentioned as a way of getting a slice of VS
I'm not a favour of consolidations either, most seem to trade lower in the following days.
The spread is ridiculous but the 30p ASK is still equivalent to LEG at 0.08p and the ASK last Thurs was 0.09p
So, with a positive view, they are a better deal today if you want to buy.
With a negative outlook the 22p BID is only 0.058p in old money and that is almost a disaster.
I considered topping up last week but I guessed they would initially drop so I waited. But my account I wouldnt let me trade them until 16:25 today. But I'll be ready to top up first thing tomorrow.

Never work..look @ the eye watering 36% spread...
