Well done mate
well i have another email from TALV today just making sure I received yesterday notification .I will keep the contact lines well and truly open now
investors@talvivaara.com
i have a reply from the company . here it is 'The company has struggled but we are making some decent moves forward as of late. We have acquired an energy saving business which is being developed for industrial use. There are other interesting options that the management is looking into also. Talvivaara does post all stock exchange releases to the LSE and also via the wire so it should all be available in English. Regarding issuance of information, we disclose all and any information to everybody equally by way of stock exchange release but I guess you refer to discussions in other medias about possible outcomes? The company does not take part in these speculations. The recent directed share issue has been for the creditors of the company as one of the steps to move forward in the Corp Reorg, so it is a necessary issue and EGM on Thursday. This will aid in the moving forward process. For all up-to-date information regarding Talvivaara please subscribe to our Stock Exchange Release mailing list to receive all the updates immediately.
Time will tell mate. As we've both said before there is only a slim chance we will see any of our investment again but a slim chance is still a chance.
well looks like the email has gone ok and here's what it says 100% straight to the point 'Hi Pekka, Apologies to contact you directly but I along with many other investors here in the UK would like to know what the current situation is and to be completely honest whether there is still some hope of saving the Business. Many Thanks
well ive sent an email to talv and pekka ( i think if i have the email correct) to ask for some information as to 'why have we not been wound up yet? lets see what comes back
im with you its not over until the fat lady sings IMVHO. Gambier is being realistic here but if like he says its finished then why hasnt it all been wrapped up long ago. whats the point of all the DEBT restructuring thats going on etc etc . thats what I just dont get.
No one is suggesting Talvivaara is related to Terrafame. No one is suggesting it is still a mining company. I am suggesting that a shell company with shareholders can raise money from the shareholders to invest and maybe Talvivaara can do this and decide to invest in Terrafame. Not game over yet. Not finished yet.
Talvivaara is in no way related to Terrafame. It is no longer a mining company, it is literally a shell company with no assets or money to invest. It is game over. Finished.
i do hope youre right like you i still have a small positive gene in my body
Article dated 3rd Jan, Talvivaara looking for new business: http://www.talouselama.fi/uutiset/talvivaara-etsii-nyt-uusia-bisneksia-6612357 Article dated Saturday, Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä says Terrafame deal in the works : http://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/minister_no_more_state_money_for_terrafame_mine/9429844 I continue to suggests the plan is for Talvivaara to raise funds and invest in Terrafame. Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä hinted that a deal is in the works, and more information will be available in two weeks' time. We shall see.
I think they will wind it up in the next few months, they have no business, just a shell company with a terrrible reputation.
i know but thats just it why havent they . thats the intriguing bit
What difference does the dilution make if we have no interest in the mine? Aa far as I can tell, we are proud shareholders in a company whose assets have been stripped. Or did something change over the last 12-18 months? I can't understand why they aren't just winding this up so we can get our tax loss and move on.
I read it wrong it is 40 billion, so 1:10 dilution "Based on the authorization, the number of shares which could be issued through one or several share issues shall not exceed 40,000,000,000 shares in aggregate." http://www.talvivaara.com/media-en/Talvivaara_announcements/stock_exchange_releases/stock_exchange_release/t=talvivaara-mining-company-plc/id=228424614
Hi JCB, the total number of shares was increased by 2,081,653,010, making the new total of shares 4,189,807,162
Was reported in the last news repory. That would be up to 100x dilution, has anyone read what Peka has in mind with that? Is it a new venture or the old one back?
No, the two companies are completely unrelated. Shareholders were wiped out with regards to the mining operations. A shell company is left which is pretty much worthless.
Based on current nickel and zinc prices multiplied by the tonnage's extracted last quarter I make that $58,000,000. The post by geek, thanks, stated that it is a state owned company now looking for a buyer. If one is found will we get any value from our shares or are they completely defunct?
Tell me about it
...is going on? I've completely lost track of this turd; just wondering why they don't wind it up so I can take a tax loss. I mean, the company is being sued for god knows how much, it has no rights to the mine anymore, yet they're still mucking around with exchanging debt for shares. Does anyone have any idea what the big plan is? The only reason I got into it to start with is because I figured the Finnish govt couldn't let it go belly up, so perhaps that rationale is still valid... but I just can't see where the value is supposed to be in all of this.
