I mean half empty lol
And to think the order was for a full pint!
Jeez this (share price) is so typical!!!!!
I am amazed why after soooooo many times people have been surprised when I have a glass half full default and challenging core view. How can anyone whose been here for years have a different view. It's ALWAYS great progress and share price doldrums!!
Gotcha, wasn't being picky.
So now, that throws a new light on things ! Which means, I buy in, it drops like a stone, stay out, and up she goes. I'll let you know when I've hit the button if you would all like to standby for the dip.
Maybe should have said trading update.
Upcoming results? 28/7/21 not yet confirmed
I can only assume the selling is down to upcoming results. We know they won't be pretty so maybe need some good news along side them to soften things a little. Hopefully before month end.
Typo. Inconsistent not into insistent
Who is Chandra Gosavi?
And I suppose we are not giving a moments thought that the US Trader comment must mean UK Govt and not US Govt. Seems too far fetched for me too, but it's so into insistent and poor if regarding news that's already dropped.
Perhaps asking Chandra Gosavi why Yourgene has posted recent news and including that item?
That's the real puzzle.
I asked the question as confused because the news sounded like what had already happened with a ridiculous comedy youknowwho man 25p, yet the timeframe was for today/tomorrow!
My gut tells me this is past news and/or we will not see it this week - well only tomorrow left now I suspect. I'm always up for a good news story just without the confusion, errors and delays. Could it be? Nah is my guess as already delivered and too early for orders.
Looks like the covid19 testing side of things in general is starting to pickup across all providers with numerous tweets about phone lines etc being busy.
We have 3 covid related lab jobs advertised covering day/night shifts and weekends so maybe the tests we are processing is starting to rise.
Has anybody been into their local Boots and seen Clarigene for sale? I went to quite a large store and they were nowhere to be seen - asked a staff member and you had to ask for them at the pharmacy counter. At the counter were three stacked empty boxes (I guess this was a stab at some sort of promotion) and the tests themselves were hidden in a drawer. My point being unless you knew they were selling them you'd have no idea they were available - they really need some sort of display stand or at least sit with within the travel section or with other covid related products. Looking at the website at least the onine sales are picking up.
£500m mcap. Once mentioned by LR. What are the chances if orders for multi millions start to roll in from govt? £18b and counting is the pot from just 2 lots, that's a lot of money, and ygen should get a good slice with any luck. Just a quarter % would nearly triple revenues, sod it let's go for 1%, yeah, that sounds better. Sounds pie in the sky, but it's a very big pot, with only 50 suppliers, and govt like what we've got.
@eato - I imagine they're delaying results as much as possible so they can include imminent contract news.
Very probably! It seems news is imminent from both US and UK.
Are they trying to get an actual contract into the forward looking statements before announcing results
People getting confused about contracts and orders. A huge govt order is what we need.
Yes, not clear..maybe he means an actual order, though that seems a bit soon. Or maybe the other two lots.
I.e.
YGEN ?? Word is that the huge government contract will drop tomorrow or friday. It will open 25p+ if it does
My below comment refers to broker comment via phoenix Twitter link
I'm a bit confused at the trader note if the timing of 20 hours ago is correct and saying the govt news will drop today or friday.
We've had it already haven't we?! Plus 25p lmao
Buy Low, Sell High is only possible if you can buy when the shares are relatively unloved and unrecognised ...
... whereas most people prefer Buy High and Sell Higher which is deemed riskier since most share prices spend 95% of the time below their highs.
I’m miffed how market is turning a blind eye to us. NHS contracts in pipeline, private contracts in bag, news from USA soon!

I suppose if we are to get US contract news this week it will be tomorrow or otherwise likely another week rolls by whilst we see if we can muster a buying opp at sub 14p. I thought this 31st time was the one to break the mold.
Maybe next time - 50 times by Xmas.
the company says it is; '' National Framework contract award''
What it isn't is an order! I fully expect those to follow.
They were not contracts.
