CB is busy picking out colour palettes for the interior of his new yacht. "The Bushranger". ;-)
Thanks everyone, very much appreciated. Very exciting times ahead.
He did a podcast for GLR.
Where is CB today?
No interview.
Having a play with the ASX ip 2007 map with historic holes overlaid with the Xtr Rns 25th Jan 21. Using the Rns clues and geographical obstacles eg: trees i have made a logical guess, and it is a guess!!! of where BRDD 001-005 are ! I've plotted 4 yellow dots where I think they might be. We know the Porphryr runs South East to North West. Have a look, compare with the rns's and as always DYOR

Brdd-20-001 1174m at 50' is set and is known.
Brdd -20-002 899.4m at 80' : 300m from 001 offset from strike and 200 m from any historic hole
Brdd-21-003 975.5m at 60' ; Drilled higher in the system toward the North West
Brdd-21-004 117.6 (same pad as 003) Supended and capped
Brdd-21-005 at 70' : 250m to the northwest
Looking at the link below - as the porphyry drops at 45 deg down from the surface and that the drill hole 5 is some distance from the upper end of porphyry and a step away (NNE) from the centre line (hole 1) - this on the one hand is hard to visualize / model from what data we have, BUT is a significant step change in the over all size (i.e. mineralisation starting so close to the surface in virgin drilling territory) or as iceberg points out maybe a second core extension...

IMO ATB Shorn
I wonder if collin has let the cat out of the bag, he specially mentions copper mineralisation!
"This hole, being 120m down plunge of BRDD-21-003, has encountered traces of copper mineralisation at shallow depths well above the target zone."
It's difficult to have too much faith in the exact locations, as xtr simply arnt saying....a pain.
this was my estimate from last week. It's interesting they have hit the minor mineralization 100m earlier!
There is no expectation of mineralization 40m from surface towards the NNW...it's a virgin drill territory So maybe it hints at a second core of splintered extension. With way imo it's amazing news...
So an estimate for Hole 4.
Minor mineralisation from 140-380m.
Outer Alteration zone 380m - 500m.
Inner Alteration zone 500m - 900m. - with a very high grade core at about 650-850m.
outer alteration zone again 900m -1200m
***surprise prediction is a twin core in the inner alteration zone.
Thanks Ella, still confused, but very encouraged
Hi Portal,
I'm lost too but the RNS says holes 5 is being drilled towards the north-northwest
"The rig was has now been moved approximately 250m to the northwest to drill hole BRDD-21-005 at -70 degrees towards the north-northwest with the aim of drilling across the deposit about 120m down-plunge from hole BRDD-21-003."
Looking at the Toodyay Resources ASX doc from 2007 there is an IP diagram. I have no clue how to read these but the red colour has a sort of hook shape at the top and wondered if they were trying to test what the top left hand side of this represents in terms of the ore body.
Alliance news
"
Xtract Resources PLC - miner with projects in Mozambique and Zambia - Completes drilling third hole of Phase One diamond drilling programme at Racecourse Mineral Resource on Bushranger porphyry copper-gold exploration project in Lachlan Fold belt, New South Wales, Australia. Starts drill hole four. Drilling starts over the weekend and has reached a depth of 126.7 metres, having entered the outer alteration halo of the deposit earlier than expected at 45 metres, with pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralisation and traces of chalcopyrite. "After further modelling based on the outcome of hole BRDD-21-003, we decided to re-position the hole to obtain a better intersection angle across the deposit. This hole, being 120 metres down plunge of BRDD-21-003, has encountered traces of copper mineralisation at shallow depths well above the target zone," Executive Chair Colin Bird says.
Could you update your diagram you did last month which we all found very useful? I am finding it very difficult to picture where drill 5 is in relation to drill 3. Drill 3 intersected the porphyry system at 290m, I think 5 is drilling back towards drill3 from the west ? If so isn't it very significant that ASX has hit mineralisation at 45m?
