£636m worth of shares exchanged between institutions. Stake building quietly
Big Off Book Volume today, with a total of 931,253,664 shares traded; Out of that I think 66,805,595 were On Exchange.
Motley Fool are just trying to entice investors with there daft predictions so as to advertise there chargable services. Only a Motley Fool would fall for it! So as with most adverts, best ignored
Apparently The MF are going to change name to be known as ‘The rear view mirror investor’.
My average price is 85p, top price paid was 91p for first buy in dealing account, will sell above £1 for tax reasons. Shares in isa account will be kept until £1.30 is reached.
MF are rampers for any SP going.
Feel good guys !!!!
Also contradictory for same company few days later.
Anyone using Motley Fool as investment advice needs their bumps felt ! They change their views on a daily basis and are often well behind the curve. The only thing MF are good for is for those suffering from acute confirmation bias !
ForensicBloo. Plenty of posts on here today, Why are you bothering, if you think it is pathetic?. The baiting though, is of course pathetic, but less of it today than normal. Let's hope this good run continues.
Chart position, sp, requires to trade past previous high of 78.25, to proceed higher. Bullish Double bottom, in place, forecasting future sp, of 85. Falling major trendline also at 85. Overhead supply at 85, so that recommend sell at 85, unless sp, does not get past 78.25. Bollinger bands separating, meaning fast movement. Bullish weekly Williams@r, failure swing, and RSi(relative strength), has bullish positive divergence . Long term chart is capital destructive, so only suitable for trading.
Share price making another attempt at breakout from lows - into the 80's may be a sign that the recent lows are in the past.
Had an order in to top up first thing this morning but unsuccessful with another days mark up in price (already got plenty though) - last bought in June at about 72p - will be happy not to see lower prices again to tempt me.
Is that the same fool that told everyone Wizz air was a good buy at double its current price! Looking at todays move, is it correlated to the iPhone launch? Rumour has it there may be a form of Apple subsidy. 🤷🏼♂️ telecoms are up. Are they just feeling VF is cheap?
No wonder hardly anyone bothers with this sharechat now.
Pathetic baiting, constantly.
Jac are you ok you havnt posted for a couple of days .
Not good for Jax and gutter, who have gone very very quiet.

WOW have i missed some news on VOD ? flying high at 76.5 - along way still to go to my average of 97p though :(
Paid.
Looking good.
Does anybody on here actually have have a clue what they talking about? At least I don't pretend that I do! (PE adjusted, unajusted) give us a break? Complicated it is, I think I understand than far better than most on here?! Just don't give robina vitriol!. Nobody has mentioned idea today, which although very small, may have given vod a small boost. I think the future for vod is looking good, but a big challange ahead. As vod shareholders? lets wish them well. As for the negatives on here, why don't you find a share that you like, & post on there forum? You might find it more rewarding. Constructive, negative comments though, I always wellcome,as you all know. good luck to all serious share investors. Shame about the dissruptive idiots on here.
Forward P/E is nearer 7 (unadjusted for debt) which is still low.
If you are wanting a stock with a P/E of 2 Robina look at PAF. Minimal debt and in a defensive sector (gold).
"Even on the managements own 'adjusted' metrics, they plan to reduce EBITDAL by 9% and adjusted FCF by 31% in 2024 year, compared 2023."
You're not wrong, the F24 guidance does show a reduction in EBITDAal from €14.7 billion to €13.3 billion (-9.5%), and Adjusted FCF coming down from €4.8 billion to €3.3 billion(-31%); Whether or not they decide to reduce the dividend on the back of that isn't clear.
In the FY23 figures there was an adjustment to FCF of €2,467 Billion for Spectrum and licences, which might not be replicated next year, meaning actual FCF may be higher. Equity dividends aren't part of the FCF calculation and is subtracted later as part of the Net Debt calculation, so FCF isn't really relevant to paying the dividend. The share buybacks have now ceased, which were also accounted for exclusive of the FCF part of the calculation and lower down in the Net Debt calculation.
What I'm saying is it's too simplistic to just quote EBITDAal and Adjusted FCF, as there's more to the sustainability of the dividend than those two figures alone. The cash Flow calculations are accessed via the Cash Flow tab at the top left of the web page linked to:
