Good evening robleo my friend (amigo). 143.9p is plenty, better than sub 140p. It's already a new high since the drop caused by the pandemic. Got to take easy and slowly....... hahahaha
Anyway, let's bring on Monday and see how things will go first. Hopefully, VOD will surprise us with an outstanding reading of its trading figures on Tuesday. Who knows hey?
Cheers and goodnight.

Hi sidi, my second jab wasn't due until 2nd June, but they rang me Friday afternoon, asked if I could get there within an hour as they had a couple of spare ones, not had any side effects this time so far, apart from maybe schizophrenia
You and Dan have not inspired me very much, with your price predictions for close on Tuesday, I may as well sell up Monday ? lol, enjoy your weekend
Oh, as for the SP guessing competition, I'll stick to my 143.9p again, although the chance isn't really that high. Need to be a bit optimistic hey?......lol
Hello everyone. Hope that you all are enjoying your peaceful weekend. Weatherwise, not so great but rest is all we need after a hectic week in the market.
Will have the second COVID jab this coming Thursday. My first one was the Oxford vaccine and I got a little side effects. I hope that the second one will be ok.
Now let's look forward to Tuesday then and see if VOD will give us some good news. GLA and enjoy your rest.

Think everything depends on how effective these vaccines will be against the Indian variant now, was hoping to go on holiday around September, if all ok, but who knows anything can happen
Good evening Amigo Robleo. Tuesday close, Somewhere between 1.35 & 1.45.?? It could go either way depending on the results. But time to move on of course & reset. I had my 2nd jab, 2 weeks ago, so looking forward to getting out more. Rubbish weather here as well, but I think, a bad spring, brings a good summer, it all balance's out in the long run. But a holiday abroad, oh, can only dream about it at the moment? Last spring was crazy warm, I went out on my canoo, on the river. Anyway, no more Sunday, bloody, Sundays, lets hope?! Just sun days!
Good evening Amigo Dan, would you like to start off with the share price at close on Tuesday
Re: time to move on, I think so its all been said, and life's too short, time to reset
had my second jab today 2 weeks early, last year weather was great but you couldn't go anywhere, this year you can, but the weather is rubbish, really am dreaming of a holiday in the sun now
Hello Gary. I am a bit puzzled by you totally distancing yourself from your post to annalisa on sunday at 18.25. & his reply. I guess you are trying keep the peace, but in case you didn't realise it, I don't work for Aldi, not that there is anything wrong if I did. Just puzzled by you welcoming him back, after your very strong attack. There is banter, But what he came out with was just complete nonsense, as you said at the time. But never mind, time to move on I guess, so good luck & lets look forward to £1.65. Thank's to Mikey bye the way for the date of the results.
Afternoon posters & well done Patient in getting your ground source heat pump up & running. I'm currently doing a wonderful house up on the Quantocks in Somerset. I thought of one but opted for a polluting gas boiled instead. We are one of the only villages in the hills with gas so it seemed a shame not to use some of it. An important week next week with the full year results, dividend announcement etc.
Good to see Annalisa back & before the North / South rubbish all starts again I was born within spitting distance of the Shibden mill pub near Halifax, still one of my favourite pubs in England. I left there as a young man to seek my fortune, did quite well, employed a few people along the way, paid a lot of taxes (still doing so) & am having some fun with the stock market. So onwards to 1.65, my new mantra. Good luck all.
Hi CS,
Looks like you have been busy with your ETFs. Yes it looks interesting tomorrow with a quick bounce back on the cards. Vod annual figures out on Monday so not long to wait, and then a gradual rise to 150 would be nice before ex-div, as you say. Vantage towers are up to nearly e27 so all to the good.
I will get itchy quite soon as I have no confidence in a sustained rise post ex-div, but then what do I know. I'm concerned about all those Musk satellites and new tech bringing their price down.
Just thought you might like to know that I have saved the planet and you can all carry on your business with no worries, as my ground source heat pump was switched on earlier today (Thursday). Only 12 months after the boreholes were drilled, but finally got warm rads and floors, hooray. Water coming out of the ground at 10.4 degrees C so great news as it means the efficiency will be better than anticipated.
Evening Amigos and & Musketeers
Nice to see Patient back trading again - seems to have the knack with VOD's snakes'n'ladders, and may have some competition from Gary59 too - another one who made good call.
I've put my tin hat back in the cupboard ready for a nice blue day tomorrow. Gosh what a day it was with FTSE down 170 this morning, after tuesdays 176 pts drop as well. Let's hope FTSE regains and holds 7000, and takes VOD back over 140. i'm hoping for 150 by ex div date. Had to sit on hands today with all my trading shares in the red, andwould be nice if one or two could get into profit tomorrow.
On Tuesday I bought 8 units of an ETF called LUK2 @ £278 each. If the FTSE goes up 1% tomrrow, the ETF should go up 2%. I was hoping the SP would get to £290 this week, which would need the FTSE to get to about 7100. Don't think it will get there, but will likely close the trade if I can make a £50 profit after costs. By contrast if the FTSE falls 1% then the LUK2 SP will drop 2%, so a bit of leverage without the huge risk of spreadbetting or similar. Not many ways to get leverage inside a SIPP wrapper.
so come on VOD, let's go flying tomorrow !
Cheers & GLA - CSDI
Re; Analisa, just a few jokes that went a bit too far really, it happens sometimes, maybe he will see that and come back tomorrow, we are all here hoping to make a bit of money, and good to have a joke sometimes
Ah, so that was Gary? ......lol
That's all for me. Good night everyone, sweet dreams.
S.I.D.I. annalisa's disappearance, No way you can take credit for that. That was down to our new Amigo friend Gary, & he wasn't being a bully, just talking common sense. So thank's Gary for that.
DOW future is now up further 44 more points and FTSE100 future is also up almost 20 points. Tomorrow looks more and more likely a blue day.
Good evening Dan. You know I like joking don't you. I might have made light-hearted joke on people but I don't think that is picking on someone. Well, did I?. .......... hahahaha
I am a southerner. I know that I talk a lot of rubbish but I am easy going, not a bully. So, I don't think annalisa's disappearance has got anything to do with me........lol
Only sold 1/3 of LGEN and bought GENEL ENERGY, which went down 12% today(includes ex-div 4.2%). I also sold one third of M&G and put it into TED, big mistake!! M&G shot up more than 4% today and TED has gone down 3% since I bought. Oh dear me, what a stupid! Hey CSDI my friend, you see that? I am many time worse than you.......lol
But my portfolio has still outperformed the FTSE100 over these three days period though, -1.1% vs -2.3%. Thanks to the star performance from M&G today.......hehe
Hi sidi Think annalisa has done a runner, got scared off by the nasty southerners maybe lol, thought you would have been pleased about the drop with lgen, as you said you sold half of them off before the drops ?
Prize money? What prize money?
Ah, that competition winning prize? Well, annalisa was the sponsor. You have to ask him/her for the money though........... hahahaha!
Never been able to understand how these markets respond, down up down up and what for, just to give people buy and sell opportunity's, ah well, at least I have my prize money to look forward tomorrow : -))
Dow is currently up 500 points. Almost regained all the losses from yesterday, crazy Americans!
If this stays until they close then we should see more recovery here tomorrow morning. May even go up to 141p!
Come on, let's bring on tomorrow!
