I have forgotten about my buying. It was triggered at 393.6. Now I have doubled my holding, how very silly. Hahahaha
I don't think you are trying hard enough. Put your back into it.
Nope, we are still here. That £3.10 door is very tough. Must try harder to break down before we can move on.
It does seem that right now 310 is our resistance. Got to break it down before we can move on further. Well, let's see what will happen tomorrow then.
Thanks for the info Troajan. So, VLX's SP is about to explode. £4 in 12 months? Well, I wouldn't mind that if it hits the target. GLA
Yes, the recent trading update was good as well. So it has a very good future here, suitable for a long term hold, but I wouldn't mind a bit of trading in between too, hahaha.
Good luck with your trading, personally I don’t Trade only sell if need to rebalance Porfolio. Lots to look forward to here including that recent EV contract win ( suspect Tesla) worth excess $30 million, with full production anticipated to commence during the 2024 calendar year. This is a core holding for me.
Yes, VLX is good for trading if you time it right, but it's also good for long term hold as well. I'll sell again if this gets up to 330 in a short term and buy back later when it pulls back, lol.
Have a nice day all and good luck.
Would be pleased for 320.
Lot of sells today. I dunno.
Given the lack of stamp duty I guess it's a good trading stock?
Bought some back yesterday @303.4. Think I am just in time for the rebound. Here we go, onwards and upwards!
I've added as I see at least a short term rise happening.
Can't see anything wrong with this company going forward.
...sold @305.24 actually.
Just took my profit. Should have sold when it was over 320, but my reaction was a bit slow and I don't have the conviction. Well, you either have these sort of things, or you don't. They aren't things that you learn.
Will buy them back if they drop back to the 280's. See you all soon and good luck to all holders. Have a very good afternoon.
Thanks for the info oxygen. Well, let's hope that the change will do VLX good and will climb its way back to £20. GLA...
It was VLX own choice to join AIM, back in 2017, in order to provide greater flexibility to pursue growth and partnership opportunities, as it has now demonstrated and in the process over doubling Revenue. A good move with less bureaucracy.
No idea why it became an AIm share, but it does seem one of the few Aim shares that can be trusted. Hope that is not the Kiss of Death for Volex.
So, that was the reason why VLX has been kicked out of the main market and joined the AIM then?
Dropped all the way.I sold at 1050 then bought back in at 169.
It's looking good again now over 320, but still a long back to year 2000's over £20!
Was there a share splits after that? Or did it drop all the way to the present level, I wonder. Does anyone know?
Yes very disappointed when VLX delisted from the Main Market about 6 years ago to join Aim, I’ve been holding my nose ever since !
There are 18 preceding comments on this share today.
All but 3 of them add absolutely nothing to the conversation, and serve only to demonstrate a frailty of mind and nerve.
A word of advice, guys - AIM stocks are seriously not for you.
I have just checked. It was a mistake. Yes, the next dividend will be 1.4p and ex-dividend date will be Nov 30 and pay day will be Jan 20 2024. Sorry for the misinformation everyone.
The info was from DividendMax. A notification was sent to me yesterday.
Seen it. The ex divi date is 30/11 with payment 10/1/24. Not sure whose announcement you’re looking at but it’s not VLX.
