a double post??
Yes Brocal, if anyone wants to gain a better understanding about the current situation facing ujo and most other businesses then I would also recommend calling David on his mobile at the weekend.
I spoke to David a couple of weeks ago and one thing he made clear was that we are probably facing rough times ahead with covid. In light of that he hinted at the need to raise funds ahead of a possible covid lock down and very wise he was.
Okay, our shares have fallen and I'm down a hefty amount like many others but, the prospects here remain essentially the same. We have more shares in issue but, we also have a huge amount of cash in the bank.
Imagine running out of cash and only being able to raise in the middle of a covid lock down and then at unfavorable rates. What would that do for the sp?
DB in my view has played this extremely well and with great foresight to all our advantage IMHO.
I believe in my investment here and will add more shares at what I feel to be oversold levels now. I'm not blaming DB for the fall in sp. In my view the sp has fallen for a variety of reasons and now covid is impacting.

A point some have made during this debacle, but having spoken to David at some legth I fully appreciate the reasons for a Placing now, some even say its never a god time! As I said in my post--we live now in very uncertain and worrying times, business are collapsing each day folk losing their jobs, and it is not going to get better any time soon, so David and the board felt that now was the time to raise more cash--principle for future opportunities and a kind of insurance policy. If things get really tight then it would be even more difficult to raise funds, as it was it was well over subscribed, surely giving us PIs confidence that people in the wider community felt UJO is worth investing in. AS said give him a call --he is very receptive to having a good natter and will be open obviously cannot answer certain confidential questions --you may be pleasantly surprised!!
I agree he has no control over the SP but he sat there and said UJO was fully funded for wressle oil production And drilling at West Newton why could he not wait till we were making money via wressle before a placing was put in place we were obviously not fully funded ????
For all you PIs ****ging off DB unmercifully have you ANY idea how passionate he is about UJO? How hard he works to get things RIGHT how he has no control over the SP? To those who show him little or no respect, give him some slack, give him a phone call or e-mail him---find out a little more about the man how he ticks before posting knee jerk comments about how little you really know about him--you are typical of so many posters on social media who hide behind your lap tops, If you do not like UJO or DB then get out if not show a bit of human respect for a man you know little about, He eis hurt badly when he reads dreadfully personal comments and little wonder he has not done an interview --so call him and maybe you will change your views a little? He really is a god bloke working hard for us all, The Placing was done for a good reason because money in the bank when we have a very uncertain future on the the economy, the pandemic, and our political future.
