Tricky,
You failed to address the main point: China is on the march. Big time. Everywhere.
We have serious problems, and all of them can be laid at the feet of the totally corrupt, weak, dementia addled moron in the White House, doing the bidding for Obama et al., and he doesn't even know it.
Doggy,
I get where you are coming from in implying that the rest of us should pay our fair share for peace-keeping costs.
Even after NATO was founded in 1949, U.S. leaders tried to limit Americaâs ties to the organization.
In the 1950s, when President Eisenhower complained of âhaving the whole defense burden placed on U.S. shouldersâ and charged the Western Europeans with nearly âmaking a sucker out of Uncle Sam.
By the early 1960s, it was clear that steps to encourage Western Europe to stand up independently so the United States could draw down its presence had faltered, Americaâs aversion to costs then reappeared in perennial debates about whether the U.S. would truly risk a nuclear exchange with Moscow to protect Western Europe.
The net result was a sustained American drive throughout the 1970s and 1980s to push Western European states to assume greater burdens. U.S. officials threatened that the United States might abandon NATO if the allies did not spend more on their defense.
Donald Trump is only echoing the sentiment as seen above.
Tricky,
RE: "As long as China does not step out to play the role."?
You cannot be serious with that China comment.
About Trump: You guys simply do not get him. He's transactional. We are sick and effing tired of paying to be the world's peace keeping force. We want others to step up and pay their share. Note all his comments about NATO...same thing. We are more than happy to do our share, but we want others to sacrifice as well. As an overtaxed taxpayer in the USA, I agree completely.
Trump has been spot on about almost everything, except the poison mRNA vaccines.
Doggy,
Trump said "Washington will no longer play the role of the worldâs policeman." Actually that may be a good thing, just let the rest of the world get on with it, but the (military) balance of power may have consequences.
As long as China does not step out to play the role.
"As America is a friend of Israel it needs to formulate a solution."
============================================================
I'm not sure people are looking for a 'solution' at the moment. Some people mention the Oslo agreement as if to say "Perhaps it wasn't such a bad deal after all". But that appears off the table.
A part of me thinks parhaps - just perhaps - some sort of long term solution will come out of all this death & chaos. At the moment people are just seeking revenge....much like America in Iraq, without any idea of a plan once the battle is won.
I'm not sure governments have the leaders, the headroom or the money to solve the Palestine issue at the moment. I could see Saudi oil money used in some sort of reconstruction. But a people without hope & a future will just seek a cycle of revenge. They did it with Northern Ireland....perhaps they can do it there. Although NI now looks easy in comparison.
That's enough politics from me!
Tricky,
RE: "As America is a friend of Israel it needs to formulate a solution."
Have you been paying attention? How do you expect us to come up with anything that works? We have the most corrupt, dim, dementia addled Puppet in Chief residing in the White House, the moron who is the puppet for those running the administration (Obama et al.) that more than anything else on earth caused virtually all the geopolitical problems the world is now facing. You are asking the arsonist to help put out the fire.
Three years ago this coming February, a very wise poster here, an American, posted numerous posts about the world being a far less safe place with Stupid Joe in the White House. I was dismissed by virtually everyone here, most of whom have Trump Derangement Syndrome because they actually believe what the complicit press writes. I wish I were wrong. Everyone hates an "I told you so"...including me...especially now.
The situation in Palestine demonstrably cannot be solved by war. Calling Palestinians 'human animals' (Israel's defence minister - Yoav Gallant) and an recently announced policy of collective punishment, against all the residents of Gaza, is lamentable.
Currently Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and Israel live under various regimes of organized discrimination and oppression, much of which makes life nearly unlivable. Also occupying territory is asking for trouble. As America is a friend of Israel it needs to formulate a solution.
Nice idea gdog but you have assumed the management team care about anyone else part from themselves. Sadly, that is a mistake and can be verified by looking at the price chart for two years which will demonstrate their interest in shareholder returns.
And not a peep from management about the war.
I know Ofer served for over 20 years, and Sagi is still pretty involved with training and mentoring young soldiers in the IDF, as often as monthly prior to the terrorist attacks and impending war.
Can't help but wonder if Sagi was called up or left on his own volition. 350,000 called up (so far) in a population of 8 million, give or take, is a pretty big number.
A statement from management would be good. PERI issued a statement and Tal Jacobson (PERI CEO) went on CNBC to discuss the situation. It wouldn't take a lot for TRMR to do the same.
If all these director sells are to pay tax, then we are paying the greedy bar stewards too much. Why canât they be paid on results, it might concentrate their minds a little.
brand elevation for nexxenâŚwe sure need it. building out the enterprise side of our businessâŚ.an absolute imperative. more than happy to welcome these latest two key execs ben ****** as chief marketing officer and ariel deitz as vice president, enterprise sales.
Jr, as we say in the States, we're up sheet creek without a paddle.
I believe we'll report improved margins, improved EBITDA; improvement from last Qs numbers overall, progress with the Amobee rubbish for which we overpaid...but nobody cares what I believe (strike one), and that's what management told us (strike two).
The world is looking recessionary, and if so we've no choice but to ride it out.
Jr,
We're in the same boat...and we've no oars.
Gdog,
Whilst I agree with you, what do you suggest we do?
I can't see us having any influence. can't sue the thieves, no money left!
I am so far down that I might as well gamble to lose the lot! Which at this rate, I will!
jr
Another 52-week low today.
Meanwhile, these morons who are running the show are contemplating another buyback. So far, every single share they've bought back over the last few years are well under water.
But that's not what really matters. They use OUR cash to buy back shares...shares they awarded themselves causing us to be diluted while their position relative to ours increases. It is simple, really. What this boils down to is the fact that we are paying them incredible amounts of Money for a job POORLY done. It is absolutely, positively sleight of hand: Their egregious SBC comes out of our cash, plain and simple.
Never mind their stated annual remuneration, which is far more than they deserve by itself.
The Directors are riding the gravy train, leaving us riding 4th class. They would have had much more, without the large investors applying the brakes!
These guys are P-I-G-S PIGS.
Their pay package is a slap in the face to any investor with at least half a brain.
Should they perform as they've promised (but so far failed over and over and over again), I'll change my tune. Until then I shall remain disgusted.
Hey Curly,
Managements over promise and under deliver on results, due to poor due diligence and lack of execution has a lot more to do with the share price than planned tax sales of their egregiously large share-based compensation.
These guys are getting paid far more than they're worth. (The previous sentence is the understatement if the year.)
What a pity our greedy Directors are not awarded free shares based on performance. They always seem in such a hurry to offload some, always of course to pay tax, with no consideration of the effect their actions have on the share price.
SailorBeware, ambulance chasers and old news that's already been covered here, but once again and just for you....
Often referred to as a scatter-gun headline posted by an ambulance chasing law firm trolling for business. Just take a look at the amount of Class Action business this Pomerantz law firm alone is trying to drum up, and there are plenty of others out there, link belowâŚ.
https://www.bing.com/news/search?q=Pomerantz+Law+Firm+Investigates+Claims+On+Behalf+Of+Investors+Of+Tremor+International+Ltd+-+TRMR&qpvt=Pomerantz+Law+Firm+Investigates+Claims+On+Behalf+of+Investors+of+Tremor+International+Ltd+-+TRMR&FORM=EWRE
These guys put the headlines in the appropriate shareholder domain in an attempt to attract the required quorum of interested participants for a class action, usually about 30/40 aggrieve participants. All in the class must have exactly the same type of tort. Then a lead person, i.e. a Lead Plaintiff, from the group has to be found willing to put himself out there to act on behalf of the class as a whole. That in itself requires a lot of competence and free time. Another drawback is, any reward/compensation is allocated to the group, not individually. The lawyers take their percentage first from that award. The remainder is divided among the rest meaning those in the class carrying the greatest loss may only recover some of it. Thereâs nothing extra for the Lead Plaintiff who may have given up months of his life for everyone elseâs benefit.
The majority of these Class Action attempts go absolutely nowhere. Like unpicked grapes, they just die on the vine.
Some more reading if you are interested âŚ..but if you ask me, best to just turn the light out and go to sleep.

Jon,
RE: "At least there's a solid reason to go with TRMR given a focus on TV. Here's hoping that TRMR can use these capabilities to build on the near term CTV/linear opportunities and build out the capabilities for the other channels in time."
I imagine this is why many of us are still here. I know for sure it's why I am here.
I said a little while back I'd post some info on the recent Forrester report when I got a moment:
Some good news from my perspective was that Amobee is mid-placed in the strong performers category along with 5 others, the leaders being TTD, AMZN and Google. I was keen to see confirmation from an authoritve source that it was still well regarded, as the last report I had seen was a couple years old from Gartner. However potentially the better news was within the detail of the of the Amobee review as it basically concluded that it excels at every stage of the TV investment cycle, and one quote was "a specialized DSP for TV" rather than an omnichannel juggernaut - and is best for for heavy TV buyers. Although the conclusion points to weaknesses outside TV, I think given the size of the CTV/ linear TV opportunity, its not a bad position to be in strategically and preferable to others that are perhaps more omnichannel capable but excel at nothing. At least there's a solid reason to go with TRMR given a focus on TV. Here's hoping that TRMR can use these capabilities to build on the near term CTV/linear opportunities and build out the capabilities for the other channels in time.
