We are long overdue news in some of the areas. Carbon capture and northstar spring to mind. or perhaps some further contracts in hyrdogen or sapienza. Pre October news was flying out at a rate of knots and has slowed down considerably
Hi Lutra
Absolutely right about individual circumstances/timings.
Tpg needs a higher profile to draw in more interest, hopefully the new PR team are on the case.

It's a hold for me, too, but investments need to be flexible and people can be expected to buy and sell for lots of very good reasons that are unrelated to the current share price. As for me, I will need to realise slightly more cash from my portfolio in the forthcoming year than I will get from natural yield alone, so I will be selling part of one of my holdings. Its unlikely to be part of my TPG holding, but it will have to come from somewhere and in all probability whatever I sell will be at a price that is lower than my optimistic hopes for upside potential.
Thanks for the replies.
Why would you sell at this level when there are so many upside plays within tpg?
Most of the sells are smallish amounts so I'm assuming PI's.
Haven't seen many large II sells of late so I'm assuming their happy with their investment.
It's a hold for me

Radius, I'd be guessing months rather than weeks and perhaps not by May. There was an implication that TPG would sound out other bidders as well as doing the in-house sums. I would want them to make sure they get full value and not rush the process. Slightly worrying, though, that share price is down despite the potential for a major asset sale.
A mention of a new hydrogen hub for rail transport just mentioned in the budget.
My guess is prior to results in May
Budget day, hopefully to include a push on green tech.
Could do with the SP moving in a northerly direction as it's easier to secure a premium price on sale assets when on a rising tide not an ebbing one.
Could anyone with more knowledge/ experience of these buyout/JV procedures, have an educated guess at a timescale, are we talking weeks or months?
Thanks in advance

Nice find OT.
Further into article, carbon capture / storage also mentioned.
Interesting times ahead .
