In theory I'd expect the recovery to pick up pace and then level off as long term value investors and short termers part ways. I am hoping it does this, after Monday I have little confidence left.
Imho this is simply a correction.
The drop was unprecedented on the FTSE. Still a long way to go
Right 68s gone. Onwards upwards to 70s
Why would we want aim market? This is already like aim. Down 72%. Up 15% x4.
Pollish_the_dust filtred !
Brent at $65 will be helping our cash flow nicely..
Romi I agree. Normally itd open at 75p bounce to 85-90 as most times its an overreaction hence my buy at 68p. But naaaaa they wanted all leverage players out.
£2 a share mate id go loopey. From total loss to a gain! In 2 weeks. Its happened on jog before so who knows. It can if it turns out carapa is world class.
Not sure I agree, I think it can go 100+ without news - that's just a reflection of how ridiculous the drop was. I think a whole host of factors led to the brutal initial drop, and I think the drop below 70 was manufactured deliberately.
68p will be broken now. 70p will be the hard one I think.
mrd it would be a lovely thing if it comes in and it goes over 2 pound a share
I wonder what would my 266k look like if it went in at 40p but like my wife said thats like saying if only I knew the lottery numbers!
I need carapa desperately.... im hoping tds been reached and now they checking how deep it runs.
Yeah but 266k turning to 66k now back to around 100k I think too scared to check is no victory
This will pause around 75-80p. Which is where it should of stayed on monday. Then all on carapa. Ceo. Kenya. Jan update. Uganda sale. If all them things can happen in a few months from now and go right might see my break even again.
At least you got one.. lol
When they said here 70p auction I thought ppl were having a joke.
yes 70k vs 85kbopd is not = -70%. One of the most stupid things I've ever seen.
68p denied can break it at next wave and get to 70p
Over reaction at 72%. Youd think theyd just said we are bankrupt! Guidance of 2021 at 70kbpd they have a whole 13 months to improve it.
Yes I'll probably hold until closer to the Carapa result when speculation drives it up further, Only reason I bought is because it was probably one of the biggest over-reactions I'd ever seen in the market.
Could also be a duster only time will tell in too deep will know in time whether I break even in a few months or 2 years. Either way holding on till 150s
500 million of light sweet oil would open this in the 130s also de-risking j&j discoveries
What its targeting and what it hits is 2 different things. Im praying for world class on carapa. I can live in hope
