Ive just invested more here last week and everything sounds good but my heart sank when I saw CC doing the interview with his good progress comment and update in due course. It might be the old once bitten twice shy but I cannot get confident about anything that comes out of his mouth.
Well he certainly sounds bullish, I know we've been here before but for me at least, the situation has changed. Raising that cash to kick-start the tender process for the transmission line and sub stations was a big step and seems to have given the whole project a new energy (if you'll pardon the pun) and impetus.
They've wasted no time in awarding the tenders and I don't think they'll hang about with the fine details of the contracts.
Of course we still need the rest of the $10 million funding and the 10 MW PPA although we do have for now the interim 2 MW PPA which is enough to begin selling electricity but I wouldn't be surprised if the Botswanan element now picks up the pace having seen that we're pushing ahead.
Finally going for the Orapa tender really shows the ambition here alongside Solar and Hydrogen aspirations. As such I'm now marking this as a strong buy rec.
Feeling much more confident now I've seen some concrete progress which was all I and others ever wanted. Getting the interim PPA, raising the cash and awarding the transmission line tenders has delivered that good progress, hopefully the Botswanan element can deliver for us this quarter too.
Appi, I had the same. Normally logging out shows my post (breaks the link between me and it, I suppose) but that is not 100%.
I think they are always successful tbh - so all my postings are doing fellow posters a service :O) that's my excuse! Another post frees them up!
Too early for Colm to talk about the pipeline - that may change if we get the contract.
If Kalahari flared gas they did not shout about it! But look at the last paragraph! What a load of bunkum!

I really have no idea what goes on with this site. I just posted the link to the video but it didn't show up. Was about to post it again but then it appears - then disappears - and appears again and so on. Hopefully others can see it as I currently can't; eitherway I'll include the link again for good measure.

Hmmm, within next year?
is that until April 15th 2022 , or Dec 31st? If propose we assume Old Year's night to keep a few poster's quiet for 8 month or less.
Easter Sunday looms , not that Good Friday ever looked like it was coming to MM, me and a few more posters (and most lLTHs who remain in the closet). The priority appears to be CBM electricity from the proactive article. And that looks sensible as it is the one that is closest (100Km Tx instead of 149Km for pipeline) and (Lesedi #3 thru #5 underway afaik, no Solar agreements yet, not in the pipeline :O) ).
It’s a nice thought mm but we have heard it all before from colm the cretin! He’s about as much use as a chocolate teapot!
I’ll believe it when we have an rns stating we have a 10mw ppa and £10m of funding!
Good spot, myfirstmillion:

First electricity sales within the next year. Clear projection that everything is about to fall into place.
