Wyld Networks announce partnership with Agroforestry to deploy Wyld Connect in Brazil
Agroforestry’s innovative technology manages CO2 offsets for companies seeking to meet sustainability goals through regenerative agriculture. Agroforestry forecast to deploy approximately 4500 terminals with a potential order value of approximately SEK 27 million over a 36 month period.
Brazilian agricultural exports reached a record US$166.55 billion in 2023, according to data from the country's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa). The figure was 4.8% higher compared to 2022, which represents an increase of US$7.68 billion. This growth rate is predicted to continue through the decade. Driven by agtech Brazil’s agriculture sector will continue to play a critical part in global food supply.
Agroforestry monitor soil at sites across Brazil to deliver accurate carbon modelling. Many farmers who practice regenerative farming lack support to maintain and scale their production. Agroforestry offer a complete Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory service, carbon calculator and multidisciplinary team who carry out an x-ray of a company's carbon emissions.
However, many farms lack connectivity restricting the ability to monitor soil. Wyld Networks will provide 4,500 Wyld Connect terminals to meet this need. At the crossroads between the climate and food crises, Agroforestry utilise regenerative agriculture to sequester carbon, improve soil and ultimately produce healthy food.
"Satellite IoT is now a critical requirement for agriculture,” said Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks. "We are delighted to start this partnership with Agroforestry to connect soil data in Brazil."

Would have you believe that the loss of jobs and cut in salaries was down to a shareholder revolt. It was necessary, Tern could only raise £400k @ 2p..
That doesn’t support the ADFVN crews nonsense of Unicorns etc…
And no uplift..
That is very embarrassing. I might go as far as to say ‘Irresponsible Lending’.
Crazy….
InVMA aswell remember.
Antelope- tbf I think what sweepie is saying makes complete sense.
You’re saying “they didn’t give anything away” in other words… that’s all it’s worth.
If you believe any of the BS that’s been spouted from the top over the years then, how can that be all it’s worth. If it is indeed worth more then essentially they gave it away.
YOU BUY ONE. YOU GET ONE FREE.
If that’s all anyone is prepared to pay, hardly a positive… if it was indeed mates rates then it’s cheeky but at least it’s got a higher intrinsic value.
Wyld Networks announce partnership with PecSmart to deploy Wyld Connect in Brazil
PecSmart’s innovation in grain storage and processing unit monitoring to include satellite connectivity with Wyld Networks terminals and data service. PecSmart are initially targeting 8,000 Wyld Connect terminals representing approximately SEK 40 million to facilitate connectivity with remote grain storage and processing units.
Available grain storage capacity in Brazil reached 192.2 million tonnes in the second half of 2022 as it continues to grow with its record-breaking crops, according to a report from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the country's official data agency.
PecSmart are meeting this high demand by providing valuable inputs for the agro-industry in an automated way - both on farms and in grain storage and processing units. PecSmart facilitate operational management and combine data management with a focus on boosting productivity.
Wyld Networks satellite technology enables data collection even in the remote locations where much of Brazil’s grain storage is located. Data is used to monitor volume and weight of silos as well as for obtaining daily consumption, planning feed loads and providing support in targeting nutritional strategies.
"We are excited to start this partnership with PecSmart to solve their remote data access issues for grain storage in Brazil," said Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks. "Satellite IoT is now a critical requirement in the agricultural revolution in the region and Wyld are excited to meet this demand over the coming months and years."
Increased losses YoY.
DA have shown no signs of growth. Other than partnership count, which isn’t extraordinary in an IoT software company, as nothing is standardised, making partnerships a given. ‘Partnerships’ have no financial benefit other than expanding the reach of your product.
Tern were the majority shareholder at over 50%. They agreed to the fundraise or it wouldn’t have happened.
That’s the highest price they could get. Not ‘Sod it’ and dilute existing shareholders. Tern could not be outvoted by ‘DA’.
We agree to disagree like we do on Telegram
Tern put in around £20m of your money into DA over 8 years and the value is still £20m.
Nothing to see hear move along!
Oh dear oh dear!
Sweepie/JR, I wonder how many small investors over the years you've put off buying in here. I'd bet money that it runs to three figures.
You just don't understand how the DA fund raise worked do you? DA decided they needed more money. They cast around to see who might be prepared to invest, alongside those who had already invetsed, including Tern. They asked Tern and Tern said 'oops, soz mate, piggy bank is empty'. So they put the word around... 10/11 pop their heads above the parapet and say 'hmmm yeah ok, but we want x amountof shares for the 7mil.'. DA think, fark, that's a bit cheap, and of course it dilutes our existing investors. Ogh well, sod it, we can do good things with that money and the return to everyone will be enhanced, diluted or not.'
Tern did not 'give away' anything. Or value DA at 25m anything.
Yes you are right its $s not £s
Yteback, read back through my posting history 4rshl. small minded berk mixing me up with someone else methinks.
Where has AS values DA at 25m?
Around 735k bought in a few minutes
Antelope the seriel ramper and p&d merchant is back wheres your mate rhodi?
Time to start the p&d again is it?
Valuing a business like DA who have had record quarters in the last few years and doubling revenue this year at £25m is a bit suspect to say the least
What 'brown envelope giveaway' are you talking about?
Only thing to hang my hat on after the brown envelope giveaway that Sisto has done that the people responsible for Darktrace IPO are going to do the same at DA and make another fortune. Sadly we will get crumbs of the fortune but as long as I get my money back I will be relieved
It’s not a lot of funding for the percentage acquired tho and hardly enough to push them into the record books… this is the main point that bothers me… if you believe in it that much & you are dealing with billion $ companies…. Throw £30m and get TF on with it.. this drop feeding BS that’s gone on for years doesn’t feed one with much confidence
& in regards to the comments made by the person who is paid to make positive comments. Until something tangible, valuable, with no more dilution is sorted it is all just hot air… been going on for years & the few million they got for “general working capital purposes & to strengthen the balance sheet”
Go and read some funding RNS’s from 2015/16/17&18 - almost 10 years ago & all rhey magaed to attain was enough funds to keep their salaries rolling for a bit longer.
Hate to be so negative BUT I’d rather that then utterly deluded.
From these levels I still think you’ll make a buck but the talk of dark trace etc is just clearly, utter S**te
