...If AZ actually delivers on the potential of this quite frankly genius idea (btw how the f.uck has no-one thought of this before!!).......
YUP its a bit like that coffee 'bags' advert doing the rounds at the moment...
"I don't know Gerry, why don't they just put the blasted coffee in........HORNNNNNNN!
Its simple , they just put the coffee into" .... HORNNNNNNN!
"THEY JUST PUT THE".....HORNNNNNN
"Forget it" and walks off. Lol
Weathergeek ....not going to disagree ....with broker target ...(SYME)
growing big and fast
I'm almost in an identical boat to you Aklee... Started this year aswell just after covid crash. Could only afford to loose £1,400 out of my tiny portfolio if SYME was a fraud like the derampers were saying, now my average of 0.059 is looking very nice indeed! Haven't sliced yet and I'm not planning to for a while. It will take immense mental strength to not touch them if this goes the way we all hope, especially if the value surpasses my mortgage. In 5 years time, will SYME be the norm for companies holding stock? Obviously there are multiple hurdles to jump before that could be the case, but no one here can say it couldn't be. When scalable disruptive tech that is so simple, people say I can't believe its not been done before, takes off, it changes the world. Think about all the major apps we grew up without, and quite happily I might add, that we now use everyday, multiple times a day. These all started with an idea that no one had either ever had or tried to deliver. Heck we even grew up without the device that the apps are on! When you take a step back and realise how much the world has changed in the last 20-30 years because of tech and how rapidly fintech is changing the world today and what it could be like over the next 5-10 years, it's scary to think that we actually caught the bottom of a company that is creating a new asset class, with a BOD that is highly experienced and at the forefront of the fintech space. Will SYME be the norm for stock monetization, like iOS/android is for apps, Facebook is for social media and netflix is for watching tv? Who knows. The only thing I do know is nobody else is doing it. 42.5p will make me a millionaire and change the life of my family. At that price it certainly wouldn't be anywhere near as big as the companies mentioned above, a fraction of in fact. Maybe I am dreaming... but I'm in the hands of a much wiser man who is trying to realise his dream. So let's see how it goes. Have a good weekend people, see you back here Monday...
Well had a feeling about syme and I have said all a long if they pull this off they would be massive bring on Monday and I think we will start seeing some big boys come to play . Gla
Haha, not helping weathergeek!!
I'm afraid I can't calm you down. You've an actual chance of becoming a millionaire off of that investment if the SP reached about 30p. I've seen valuations for next year at 16p and 58p. Yeah for real, they exist. How about a 5 year one for 150p?

If the team pull this off, people in now will have been in one of the best shares in history.
Why don't you ask Alessandro Zamboni
He can help you to answer that one as a lot of us investors and the institutions believe in the model.
May be spend a few hours to research and do send Zamboni an email as he will reply back.
This business model can't work if the central bank rates go up surely. Then institutions would just deposit at banks for 4% rather than take a cut of some stock revenue
So basically it is a like a pawn brokers on a massive massive scale. But specifically for manufacturers and traders of stock.
But instead of using the money of shareholders... We give a cut to institutions who fund the purchases. Sounds like the risk is firmly with the institutions not the shareholders... Why the heck would institutions take on so much risk?
I understand what you're saying. But that latest article is talking of fees 6-8%. The CEO is basically saying they can also monetize everything, after doing so with livestock. They are also looking to do this across the globe. The risk is minimised in how diverse the service is.
If this comes off, we are talking about a company that could be worth tens of billions in the next 5-10 years.
I can deramp by saying monetising stock is risky business. If the stock or business go bad whilst it is temporarily owned. It gets lumbered with a massive amount of stock it may or may not be able to sell.
Just like loans... This can go bad too. They can do a load of due diligence.... And that can reduce risk.. but can still go bad. I guess the pilot scheme will show the way and they can tweak their model to lower risk.
Have I got that right?
It does seem like a novel idea... If it can be pulled off.
New to investing this year. My £1800 at 0.05 now looks like an extremely big number to me. Took my first small slice at close of play today. Happy as Larry. Now I'm left wondering...
...If AZ actually delivers on the potential of this quite frankly genius idea (btw how the f.uck has no-one thought of this before!!)
then in the future we will all be amazed at the cheap prices of today.
That recent growthbusiness.co.uk article had a fantastic quote in it;
" and then it financed €300m of livestock – “literally live stock,” grins Zamboni – for an agricultural owner."
Sig. Zamboni is GRINNING so much because in his head he's thinking i will monetise the living daylights out of any stock worth over £5m!! Don't matter what it is!, electronics, food, booze, chickens, you name it, he'll take 2+%
Can someone please deramp and calm me down?? Im getting far too excited!
