@WG and AP - Think of a mixer tap is how i would put it.
Weather, lower spaces, after mm .. third party
Oh bloody battery going,
And so am I hope you agree on other thread which is way more interesting as this thread will be done by end October
getting more difficult to get buy quotes ,are mms filling orders ,or athey going to let this move up soon .
Haha, No worries, Yeah double act for sure. MM's earn on volume, they've been doing well on SYME of late.
Weather, it’s a double act . See mm offer to the market 120mill .. in lower spaces after mm
I really don’t want to say to much here.
There is a link on how it’s done in my history and posted in premium,
Have a look. But I am not going to post the ins and outs lol
Float is definitely disappearing Valencia. Much harder to buy of late.
@AP. Where does it lay, if they just came in with orders at .49? I mean, you can put in an order for any amount, doesn't mean it will get filled. However, when its these large amounts with II's, would their orders not just dominate over live trading and therefore dictate the price?
weathergeek - IG are excellent in my experience.
Except the last couple of days. Haven't been able to add to my SB position on here. Been very easy so far so supply is definitely tightening.
Can still buy on the regular account though.
They have done it all .. 120mill in the lower open spaces in the auction, so third party undercutting the mm
To 600 mill late in the auction hence all these price monitoring RNS .. unusual high amount here
Think I got last one stopped,
But FCA still asking me to submit info after over a month of this robbery and sometimes daily emails to drop box the FCA gave me
Thanks Valencia. All about teamwork. Many on here piecing the puzzle together. Nice link AP, was thinking of an IG account, love the demo stuff they do.
Indeed weathergeek...
Great info as ever by the way.
10 years too late, pmsl
Thank you!
When it comes to the city, the "rule" line is walked often like a trapeze artist. Rarely on either side, just balancing somewhere in the middle..
Valencia, don’t know if this will help the full handbook from IG
http://www.igmarkets.com.sg/content/dam/publicsites/sgx/files/other/l2_trading_manual.pdf
Good luck
Same, Always views them as "order filling".
Have you put all the trades into a spreadsheet to work out numbers? Mission I know but maybe the only way. Not done it myself!
Thanks ap - I will dig deeper and see if there's anything in the LSE rules as seeing 100m+ shares popping up like that most days feels like people staying juuuuust on the right side of the rules
By the way I mentioned the other night that I would look into any Dun and Bradstreet info on 1AF2. As soon as I registered I was hounded on both email and by phone from folk trying to sell me their service so I've not pursued.
I'm sure all will be revealed in time.
Valencia, I have always taken late reported trades as a combination of smaller trades to make up the final larger trade. Therefore the total doesn’t change as it’s accounted for in the smaller volume that makes up the final trade.
Always willing to be wrong though
And of course IMHO
I posted this yesterday. Someone have any knowledge as to how this works?
"Anyone know when volume for late trades is formally recorded?
Reason I ask...
Today's total volume ended the day just above 236m traded. Level 2 shows it as such.
But when late trades are recorded on L2 in the hour after close (to account for the auction, late declarations from the previous day(s) and those delayed by an hour in the run up to 16.30) L2 doesn't appear to amend that total number
Thus far tonight an additional c.100m+ in trades are appearing yet the total volume traded hasn't flinched.
Does this get recorded anywhere eventually or does it fall into a hole?
Anyone know?"
