For clarity, I'm here because of the products, I like the bods track record, but think they have to answer some questions about the products implementation

Ed - i could write you a full paper on the pros and cons here and provide you with a professional opinion but i haven't got time mate. I use this board to obtain some useful info from respected posters, have some chatter and occasionally vent my frustration. Today's RNS was a complete non-event. It wasn't a big deal, it wasn't really new info or material. i have no idea why they issued it. I can see the long term potential here - thus why i hold a decent chunk of stock. I continue to be surprised at how negative the BoD can be in their updates though , for an AIM stock. it is almost like they want to suppress the SP ?
In truth, I don't really believe that there African payment slip was anything other than a slip. It can happen to any company, especially when dealing with African money. A very lucky slip mind, as if it hadn't, last year's revenue would have been very poor. Which is why the bod need to stand up and be counted, they need to deliver.
This is more the point I was making, you’ve made it more eloquently. The last few posts have read “genuine concern” “just don't understand why …” followed by “The market don't believe that Starcom are a good prospect, simple”, “Jeesus. They just can't help themselves can they”, “It feels like we are an auto-braking lift in freefall” “the slip in the African figures of £1.1mln to distort the accounting figures to show an upward trend” “it's not the first accounting anomoly there had been”. That’s not to say I don’t understand your frustration or where your coming from but the language used makes me question why your even here and still invested (that's not a challenge, clearly there's belief in the company and the products, just summarising an outside in perspective if that makes sense) - some of the emotive things stated have no or out of context and make things look just one way - such a the insinuation re the NA monies was some srt of shady manipulation of the figures when in fact it was absolutely transparent and a very profitable deal. Critique, question, challenge of course but to state as above and then wash your hands of the perceptions they help create and feed? Look, I’m not for a back and forth – there’s nothing personal here, I’m just voicing my take on what’s been posted – it’s just my take, maybe I’m wrong.
Thank you for your response. In truth, I want people to pick apart everything I've put, destroy it! But in any fast moving tech industry, unless to ram home what you've got, others will eventually catch up and take over. That's the nature of the beast.
Also cristals situation actually highlights what I've been saying. Regardless of any individuals situation, whether, profit, even or loss. I think that you should be looking at where the company is as of today, what has gone wrong, what's gone right and what needs to change.
You are absolutely right about the AGM, hopefully see you there. As for ii, with an mcap of under£5mln, it will be difficult for ii to invest. Imo the bod have to deliver first
Absolute nonsense indeed!
picking it apart to find the negativity every single time. This is called being critical, opening a debate both for and against to analyse what is going on. Surely that is better than saying, corrupt mms! Shorters! Undervalued. If people think things are wrong, open up a reasoned debate, use facts and say why. As opposed to, "filtered"
"that but if you spend your time hammering the company here and then have to ask why there is a negative feeling from AIM toward it". This is an interesting one, as actually addressing all the negatives helps people decide and come to an informed decision. If I have specific concerns, do other prospective investors?? Unfortunately, people shout deramper etc, why is that? Reason... They can't offer a reasoned debate to answer. Ultimately, I think that bod have done a poor job at implementing their fantastic products over the past few years. That's a major concern because, other companies will catch up and dilution will screw current investors
Utter nonsense. These boards are for discussing all aspects of the company. I have been I have been a shareholder for (i think) 5 years and as a part owner of the company, i reserve the right to comment on what i am seeing. You mistake "hammering" for genuine concern that our investment is not reaching it's full potential . The market don't believe that Starcom are a good prospect, simple. They need to do better.
These boards are ridiculous. Seemingly STAR cannot say anything, do thing, release any good news without folks stamping their feet and picking it apart to find the negativity every single time. And then, having done so, they want to know why there's a lack of sentiment for STAR. And this is all done under the guise of being "constructive" and "having to ask these questions". Each to their own and all that but if you spend your time hammering the company here and then have to ask why there is a negative feeling from AIM toward it that says more about you than what is actually happening here.
