@yajnas1 Today 06:58 "What’s a typical margin ? And a typical PE"
For margin, the SVS research note suggests ~30%, which is probably as good a guess as any. This is an average - it will be lower on pozzolan because of the transport costs, higher on perlite which is priced "at mine gate". (This explains why the presentation p24 is pricing both at $100 dollars/ton, even though perlite is intrinsically worth more - the perlite customer will want a lower price to compensate for bearing the transport cost.)
For PE ratio, I believe 5 is typical for this kind of business. Here's an example :

See the "Financial Discussion" section. They say "A diminishing asset with reclamation generally sells for 18%-20%", which I think means the same thing.
(BTW Does anyone know what happened to NSH? Their website seems to have been moribund for years.)
@Changedman, I asked the same question the other day on the BB. However, when I looked at a couple of projects on the BLM 2.0 website at the analysis and documentation status, the attached docs on such projects mention a form of public scoping period of 30 days. So, my initial thoughts regarding the permit status on BLM website were as you mentioned below but now I am thinking it may be that BLM are undertaking a preliminary EA and then upload all docs provided by SRES onto the BLM 2.0 website at Public comment period status. Not 100 pct sure. I think the Bell Mountain Exploration on BLM 2.0 website went straight on as Public Comment period from memory. That wasannounced on 3Jan.
I see some projects go straight to Public Comment period around 3 months of Plan of ops being submitted. Given the delay announced on 04 Dec RNS for additional info, I am hoping that in the next 2 weeks we will see something loaded on the BLM website.

Been also checking the Press Release section of BLM which tendes to get update in the evening.

Bplayones or mini or rodster - where are they when u need them... they will know hopefully
Changedman. I spent some time the other evening trying but couldn’t find our permit application either.
SGD thanks for your reply....surely our application should be there along with others at analysis and preparation stage and then moving on to public comment period... sorry don’t think it will come on at that stage.... I maybe wrong but I thought they would show up as soon as it’s active like a planning application would....any ideas??
@Changedman : It's not there yet - it's what we're all waiting for! (We think it will appear at the start of the public consultation period.)
Please can anyone help...I’m looking on BLM Website and searching under NEPA for our application...is there anyone that can help me...I tried to do an advanced search but can’t seem to locate it....I know someone kind enough on this board will be able to direct me...thanks guys
• Raw perlite (horticultural grade) : c $90-100/ton ex-mine
• Expanded Perlite average $350/t >$850/t for filter grade
Sorry got to jump in here
It says up to 10m and up to 50m revenue
And note the range of production possibilities (20,000 to 100,000)
So to me that’s saying 200k to 10m revenue and 10m and 50m revenue
And then for company valuation we go for a P/E ratio guess
But you know the numbers still look great
Key question is projected profits
Doesn’t sound like any info about
What’s a typical margin ? And a typical PE
With this can start protecting a rough valuation I suppose
It does point to a high valuation anyway tbh even on lower end of scale if read the numbers correctly
SG, this is the piece of information that I’ve been pondering. If revenue is £10m what is the likely profit? Does anyone no the cost of this type of operation? The next natural question is whether there is a general formula for working out mcap based on profit.
Long term holder here with 5.8m shares. Written this off along with TYM but am now getting hopeful that I might recover losses and may even make a profit.
Roders - are you stating PC will look at selling CS Project???
I was looking at page 24....sales value of 10million
Steady on, Changedman, I don't think that's _quite_ what it said. (I'm looking at Page 24, but if I'm missing something, tell me where.) Still great sales values though!
As I've said before its June and then Cs project will be bought out. Funds then back to bay and garfield
My pleasure...targeting profit of 10 million per annum as per presentation with low cost production, low overheads getting me really excited about this project and with machinery thereafter 50million per annum...even with 10 million what is our Mcap again...4 million lmao
Great thanks @Changedman.
Thanks Samspade4.
Perhaps early 2020 for PC is mid year lol. With the announcement of public comment period yet to be advised, followed by what seems a 30 day public C period and then whatever time is allocated for final decision/outcome, I expect earliest
late April to May. We will get a better idea once the public comment period is opened. Has anyone checked any other previous Projects with EA to see how long after the public comment period a permit is granted? Does it vary on kind of project?
Spoke to PC yesterday who stated that permit would be due soon and to keep eye on alerts... think we will get approval from NEPA in start to mid March and public approval for 30 days there after....it’s a waiting game but could happen anytime imo
Must have been updated today as I checked late last night and it was still the old presentation. Nice one. Something to read this evening.
Cheers for that SGD. I see the truck is still up for sale lol. (Yes! I know it says scale). On phone at mo, will look later on laptop to see if anything added. Just discussing permit with the Twitter group and its going to be mid to late April at earliest but more likely June earliest. So much for fully permitted early 2020 as stated in latest presentation. Maybe April as this would be last month i would class as early. May-Aug = Mid and Sept- Dec Late. Would folk agree with that?
It looks like the company website has been updated recently - CS Project page, NewPerl page, etc. There's also an updated Company Presentation :
https://www.sunriseresourcesplc.com/filemanager/Presentations/2020/5Feb20%20Sunrise%20Presentation%20web.pdf
It's dated 5 Feb, but I think it's only just been added. (Maybe it was put together as preparation for the last placing?!)
