Tackle eh?
Sounds a bit fishy to me....
Just imagine being greeted - how's it going me old tackle...
Madness. The whole world is going mad and we're not even allowed to make fun of it.
Userna & Adamsm, yes it's crackers. I am in a petroleum developer whose strata outcrop near *****tone, called *****tone Flags. They have drilled near the East Coast, but luckily nowhere near S****horpe! Actually, çock is historically a friendly term in my native county, "how's it going çock?" I can only assume the wordwashing has been bought in from across the pond, where it only signifies poultry or tackle. (Think you can say tackle.)
Love it Adam...lmao
I had no issue with your comment btw. Just curiosity about the censoring more than anything.
Plus, in this modern world......
@username. I'm afraid I'm very old fashioned - happy to offend anybody if I can make a point or get a laugh. However, got to be prepared to take some stick back in return. That's the deal.
So by now you've probably guessed I didn't go to the trouble of *** out the roach. Instead the system did if for me. I don't know if you read the FT by Janan Ganesh wrote an article saying that English won't be destroyed from without e.g. the all conquering French language or Mandarine but with within. When you see every ***er *or* gets bl***ed out - you can begin to understand his has a point!
As for the he/her bit that's just me getting p8ssed off that only maleness is toxic in today's world. Femininity couldn't possibility sink to such depths could it? Fairer sex and all that!
Anyway glad you spotted it and happy to put it on the record
Oh my goodness...... that’s so sad.
So this board allows rude, arrogant people to write stuff on here.... it allows acronyms that mean the expletives they are intended for..... but a normal child friendly word that happens to have a version of something else within it - it censors........the world we live in now
I’m all for equal, fair, modern day understanding etc but really?.?
Topped up or new to share.... nice one guys (any gender).
Random here, sideline to Serabi directly but 2 things..... firstly I’ve no idea if BT is male/female or anywhere between but certainly less brains than my daughter’s very intelligent degus.
Secondly, even more random.... in this ever more pc, be careful what you say in case of offending, I’m curious Adam....... you wrote the word after mosquitos, and appeared with these ****.... so I’ll write out the roaches word in full to see if it was censored or you did it lol....
If censored and this word (in full) exists.... seriously are we at this point where we cannot even write a perfectly normal word just because it has the other word in it?.?.?
Here goes.... ****roaches
Fair enough mate, agree with all that!
@metalhead. My post was tongue in cheek. Unfortunately he/she belongs to a class of insect such as mosquitos, ****roaches etc. You just have to learn to live with them and take precautions when in danger of coming into contact. Hard lessons indeed but perhaps they do serve a purpose. People might be wiser next time and whilst taking opinion (even his/hers) into account come to their own independent conclusion. That way we all contribute to the market being just a little bit less crazy!
I agree this is the most likely motivation for his shenanigans and I agree that if he has depressed the price it has benefited those (including me) who have had the confidence to buy/add. However, for every buyer there is a seller and who knows the circumstances of those sellers who have sold at a depressed price. Maybe they now can’t afford a holiday next year, or can’t buy their kid the birthday present they wanted, or have to work longer before retiring. I don’t think the practice of using false scare stories to drop a share price should be made light of. It’s a really grotty thing to do
Having read through the RNS I've just snapped up some more shares at a much lower price than when he started his campaign.
Mind you I rather think he's also bought a few. After that was the main purpose of his keyboard jockeying to cause untoward fear forcing the price down and then buying once confirmation was through that no further damage to the accounts have been detected despite all the forensic investigations. I reckon the accounts will now be a lot cleaner than your average plc. Given this RNS the final confirmation will be a collective meh from the market.
